Best thing about the season for me so far was the blood harvest zones. It was enjoyable to go into it and just blast through early levels and get good legendary drops left and right.

It feels like it's extra rewarding zone with high density but my problem is that they haven't done anything new, it's effectively endless helltide. What I would've liked more is actual endless helltide (to farm mats for boss) scaled down accordingly with another seasonal mechanic

that which is given has no value. i sat around the place where people turn in the 150 lures for like 3 hours and got over 100 legendaries. loot became so stupid that i didnt care about looking at it anymore. it was great xp too. i asked myself...wtf am i doing? gearing up to blow out the loot pinatas? ive since stopped playing the game. i can see how leveling up and getting full legos at like 30 would be fun. but once you hit ancestral gear, the flow of loot is just annoying

The hunters acclaim system coulda been way cooler. That board of items coulda been 3 different types of things you could choose to level up with the hunters acclaim you earn - No clue what they would be but maybe one is like you get boss mats in different ways - or aspects you can get from a gamba system who knows Those turn ins just seemed so useless an coulda been way more deep an cool to level up

Season 2 does not offer much but the game is in a place where it should have been from the start wheter it is the horse , bosses i how items drops , range of items so i enjoy my time in season 2.

They sold fixes to the problems they created as features. They were being told before any betas or anything, what the fans wanted in a new Diablo game. They took all that feedback, threw it in the trash, and marketed the game *constantly* by bringing up Diablo 2 as the inspiration....and than did nothing that could be seen as inspired by d2

Diablo is a hamster wheel you know your running on. You dont need the complexity of poe, you just need options. They shouldnt have charged $70-120 dollars for the game if they were just gonna pop out something with zero depth. Tota, Sanctum, Blight, Heist, Delve, Expedition, or just chain farm uber bosses or invitations etc. Not to mention the maps itself can be customized infinitely more than in d4, deli orbs/mirror, scarabs, map device, master missions, atlas tree etc. can bring some variety into the maps itself and change what you're doing/farming for.

The coolest boss they have added is Frost Dude in caverns. He atleast has some sort of phases... still afk dummy for beating but better than duriel. If not all the QoL changes, then season itself is kinda garbage. Bosses are garbage, yes ofc better than nothing, but does it makes them good? No! Uber uniques, well they could just increase global chance for them to drop... Game feels like for 8 y.o. kids.

So i spent time doing these damn blood things trying to level pacts ..grrrrrrrrrr .... So was getting gear and leveling okay .then i ran out of mats ..imagine that . then i finally got to t3 got into helltides to get mats .. well now am at 69 and i am doing some nightmares but guess what ? spent all that damn time leveling the pacts ..now when i get into nightmares.. I have no glyghs raised ,hhmmmmmmmmmm ..well wtf ... so like starting all over again .. kinda sad .. agree partially, of course the casuals will be easier to please. the thing is alot of times it seems like streamers have bad takes.. but they make alot of sense. if you play diablo for 3 days and then stop because you'd rather play something else, doesn't that make you wonder why? there are other games that keep your attention for weeks and weeks on end. people are just analyzing, alot of this criticism comes from LOVE and from people wanting to see the game go back to being the GOAT. unfortunately path of exile exists so that will never happen

I agree it's a really tired trope, and i wish they did away with it all together but at least they decided to carry over. It could always be worse One of the games I used to main had the same system for skill points, except you had to find 3 points of interest for 1 skillpoint, and you had to do it all over again for EACH character, and the only other option was once you completed a "zone" on one character you earned the "privilege" of buying it from the cash shop for like 30 bucks a zone. Idk how but blizzard ended up coming out less scummy than zenimax.
