I have the 20 inch version of this in the same color. I love it. I was on a 10 day trip to Ireland in May and had plenty of room for my stuff. The roller wheels make it very easy to wheel around the airport. I am 70 and a woman. I used the expansion for my trip home with plenty of room for the things I bought and checked it. I’m very happy with this brand.

I hear it mentioned often but the expansion zipper is actually a compression zipper. The point is to pack with it unzipped and then zip it to compress the luggage once packed. Just like with packing cubes but bigger.

Great review Min! Thinking of purchasing the version with the laptop compartment to be able to take my work devices with me. Also, as much as I try to leave space on my trips to Japan …. I always end up buying a whole new luggage to bring back things 😅. Can’t help it!

Also wondering about conforming to carry on limits (including wheels). Has anyone encountered issues with a 21” bag, expandable or not?

Will the 21 carry on pass through TSA when not expanded?? Concerned this may be an issue and debating the 20". Thanks for the in depth review.

I’m about to invest in this luggage thanks to you (the 20” expandble version). Question though, are the zippers puncture-proof? It might be a deal breaker.

Yes, they do have quality YKK zippers. I am not too sure about what you mean by puncture proof, but do you mean if you can easily stick a pencil between the teeth of the zipper? if so, then yes, their teeth are very smooth and tight and you can not easily puncture the zipper that way. YES!!! DO NOT EXPAND and try to take it in as a carry on... that is poor etiquette and it will not fit!!!

It’s very close to the same since the polycarbonate shell is very thin
