QUINCE CASHMERE AFTER A YEAR! STILL GOOD? Quince Haul

Thanks for this review! I was on the fence, but I need to order some of their sweaters now. I hope they add hunter green and dark chocolate to the crew neck cashmere sweater. I agree with you and the other comment about size inclusivity. Why can't brands make everything in straight and plus sizes? I've seen so many comments saying it's not feasible. But even fast-fashion brands can do it! Boohoo goes up to a size 22/24 in most items. I feel bad for shopping there, but I can always count on them to have my size, especially trendy items. But I'm sacrificing quality. And vintage isn't always an option. I read a few blogs/articles that said high-end brands don't focus on plus-sized customers because they think we won't spend the money. If a woman is a size 6, her weight may fluctuate but not very much in either direction. A $150 sweater is an investment, but it's a piece she will have for years. A size 22 woman might be trying to lose weight. So she won't want to invest $150 in a sweater she may not fit next year. I can see that now with the rise of medications like ozempic. But I've generally been in the same size range for most of my life - between 18-22. I still have a wool coat from 2016. Little tighter in the arms now but still wearable. Sorry for my long rant lol.

Excellent point!! You’re so right! Plus sized fashion is a multi multi billion dollar industry! Now days, most brands are considered fast fashion. Department stores, discount stores, even some luxury brands like Dior. They were caught this past summer using slave labor AND it came out that it cost them $59 to make a leather handbag. They charge $2900 for that bag, so it’s across the board. Shopping smart these days is essential to built a solid wardrobe and that can absolutely be done with fast fashion brands like Boohoo or Shein. We just gotta be choosy with good fabrics. @@UhapiBeauty I heard about the Dior scandal. It's ridiculous. Who can we trust with our dollars? I don't haul like I used to. I try to limit what I buy. I have some faux leather jackets I know won't last. But I can't find real leather-style equivalents in my size.

What a great video! Anybody can review an item after a 1 or 2 time wear, but one after 1 year is unheard of. I haven't tried the Quince brand yet, but now I feel like it wold be a good buy. I have a few cashmere sweaters and I agree, they are like a bestie. As always great job!

I do not understand why many brands are not more size inclusive! It’s so hard to find good quality plus sized clothing to wear, this brand seems to be making the good stuff though! Great video!

I spot clean only if I drop something on it, but other than that, I haven't washed them! You only have to wash them if they're visibly soiled. They can be machine washed though.

Not at all! I’m anal with my clothes when it comes to washing and only use a homemade detergent. Maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure.

Hi i know the poster already replied to you with her experience. But if it helps i got a couple pieces from them 2 weeks ago and i did my first wash this weekend and they all shrank. By a lot. I got everything in a small so i would say try buying it bigger than the size you want so when it shrinks it still fits nicely

Boy Quince has been giving out the cashmere! One influencer had 15 items including a leather blazer and two Italian wool coats! Wish they’d give some free stuff out my way!😂😂😂 So I’m right in the middle of an xl to a 1 x in some brands on the top and a 16 on the bottom and the one thing I noticed with Quince is their limited variety of 1x, 2x, and 3x styles! Very few items in plus sizes opposed to straight sizes! Not cool Quince!!😡🤬 Not only would it be much higher in CAD currency and probably a lot longer shipping time, so what sizes do I get? I can’t afford to order multiple sizes in multiple items just to see which one fits better!

I haven't seen any Quince sponsored videos on KZbin, but I've seen plenty on TikTok! The entirety of 2024, I've worked with 0 brands. No sponsors, no collaborations. I do have affiliates, but that's what I use to budget for more videos. That way, I have total creative control. I can say whatever I think, good or bad. These were sent through a new-to-me KZbin promo and I have no reason to hold my tongue. I agree with the sizing. I mentioned it in the video and also my original video. My advice with any sweater is to size up. To me, the bigger the better.

@@UhapiBeauty I agree. I have my original Quince sweaters from 3 years ago, I think, in an XL, and at that time, they fit loose, but not oversized. Now they are much more body skimming. I bought three new sweaters for this year - two from extended sizing in a 2X, and they are so nice and oversized. I also bought the boatneck in XL because I saw reviews that it runs oversized, and it does somewhat. I love the fit of it, but as a true XL girl right now, I would say it's relaxed, not truly oversized.

I have normal wear and tear, but no pilling. Just random lifting under the armpit as shown in the video. Do you wash yours? I avoid washing and spot clean only.

I had the same problem. I’m trying to get them to approve my return now because the pilling was terrible. I hadn’t washed it yet and only had a few wears before it got bad. Way to expensive for that to happen so quickly!

@@kates3691 Exactly my experience. They did quickly issue a refund when I documented the piling and tags through pictures. I also did not have to send it back. Loved the colors so it was a shame. I think you'll get your money back.

Because carrying sizes like 5x 6x costs money. Money to make, store, carry in store. It's also unrealistic.
