My son has that in addition he has strabismus. When I took him to the eye doctor because he still wasn’t making eye contact they told me he was blind. I almost had a heart attack. A year later I took him for a follow up appointment and he was touching all the pictures so we knew he could see. Today he is 5 and maybe has about 20/75 vision. It’s never going to be normal but it’s not blind! he is still little and developing. Don’t ever think the worse they can get better and with time learn there disability. however he is starting to face lots challenges because of this like the ability to read and write we don’t know yet but he can identify anything u put in front of him so he is smart. Just keep helping your child best u can and they may supprise you. Now as far as eye contact for the longest he never made much eye contact and we were told people with CVI do that and get misdiagnosed for autism so just watch for that.

my son just got a working diagnosis at 7 months. I also don't know how to help him. I wish they would give us a diagnosis and exactly what to do next.

My son is 18 months old and now we are working with vision therapy he have started to focus the light now what should we do after this
