Abbott elementary is so needed right now, especially with the attacks being made on the teaching profession. They are so underpaid and asked to do so much with little resources. I have several family members who have taught or teach now. I appreciate all the hard working teachers out there!

@sams5172 жыл бұрын
@@phunchurchgirl lol since when do teachers work half a day? The ones with kids have to wake up at like 6-7 AM even if school starts at 8 or 9 just to get their own families ready and out the door for their own days. And then they can’t leave school as soon as the bell rings bc they have parent teacher conferences, lesson planning things, probably gotta clean up the classroom somewhat after a day’s worth of mayhem, etc. Not to mention I rarely remember them actually having the day off even on those random no school days that weren’t general holidays. They’d either be doing lesson planning or still had a bunch of stuff to grade

My mom always said that no job could really exist without the help of a teacher. Everything you do is more likely you learned it from a teacher no matter which industry you are in a teacher helped you unless you are self taught. That's why she looks at issues regarding teachers from a local and national and international standpoint as the utmost important
@solfud2 жыл бұрын
I would even go a step further and say even those who are self taught, leaned on the backs of teachers as the resources and books used to learn come from others who were taught by teachers and systems that make up education.

I’m happy to hear about the success of this show and for Quinta! As educators, one of our laments is that a lot of policy makers think they know about education, because they attended school. We really need some way to communicate all that goes into being an educator. I’m a college professor, so this affects me mostly indirectly (policies do affect our incoming students), so those who teach pre-K through high school are the ones who need this show the most. 💗
