One of the things that I absolutely love about Quintessence videos is that all the tours are comfortable. I watch these beautiful homes and think "ok...I can do that" and it gives me such inspiration to do the same to my little cottage. An easy tip to remember - the empty space around an item or collection of items is as important to the look & feel of a room as the object itself. Some call this breathing space & you need it to feel comfortable in a room. Otherwise a space feels stuffy, constricted & suffocating.

Of all the designer home tours, this has got to be one of the best yet. Bruce Glickman was so warm and welcoming, just like his home. There were so many wonderful moments in this home tour, but my absolute favorite was right at the end when the dogs were rolling in unison on their backs by the pool, four feet skyward.
