But how do you have 0 delay with these many effects? I put my sound card driver to 16ms and still get latency while using plugins when recording to get the feeling.

Certain plugins may have a low latency mode that you can enable. I’m not sure if you have an audio interface or not. But you basically need one to record with no latency. I’d you do have one and you’re still getting latency try turning the project sample rate higher. I record on 96k and get almost no latency with a lot of plugins

Try using less on the vocal track and make a bus and run what ever your going to mix with on the bus. And route all vocals to that bus. When your ready to mix add in the extras.

A few ways to do this, but the most simple way for the way he's recording is to unlink the mixer track you're recording into from the master or mix bus. You'll still get the recording, but won't hear it real-time

As a mixing engineer I have to say I almost always prefer mixing with FX off, but that's because most people will mix their vocal into the ground and make mixing the song 100X harder. You should always send the song how you have it mixed though so the engineer has a reference to mix towards what you want and not just mix to their taste. So short answer BOTH...LoL
