i reached Silver 3 only bc i want Marius,once i got that mission done dropped again in silver 2,now i have to win 40 matches and then i'm done forever with live arena(pick Armanz,pick Armanz,ban Armanz,ban Armanz....sooo fun)

Quintus is on my NM hydra team, he’s a monster. Nub I recommend shut off A3 you will see substantial increase. The A2 is situational but I rarely use it. Phantom touch. Q is probably the most shit on champ in raid. When the Krakens got him they compared him to +4 empowered champs, Drock did a showcase and didn’t do him justice. Ash did an Unbooked showcase and called him trash. Recently Aroneous did an Unbooked showcase and said he needed a buff. These poor showcases in pvp make people even more resistant to LA imo. Q is a monster in FK, Hydra, he destroys waves. He is very underrated in pvp, he works around UDK, destroys Rotos, very good vs Harima. As a 5k LA player with 11M power he’s one of my best champs.

I'm curious, what percentage of players do we think actually have Quintus? The last numbers HH gaming threw out suggested that about 5% of all players participate in live arena at all. The number must be ridiculously small.

Live Arena is a mixed bag in Gold. I'll catch all mythical teams and then drop to arbiter lead teams. I tend to run a strat of 3 loses 2 wins then repeat. this keeps you low and gives easy and fast match ups.

If you can find someone at around 4k points, you can see what spot they are on the leaderboard, which will give you a rough estimate.

When u reach 4k to get him u are about top 5000 at rta . But it might have change since I got him

FTP 6 months here. I'm in Gold 2 so I will most likely have him in a couple of months. Don't sleep on Live Arena if you're FTP. It's so so important for Primal Shards, Great Hall upgrades and if you don't have a high Player Power the opponents won't be that crazy. I rarely meet a full Stoneskin team so it's all about the speed game for someone with my player power.

Quintus does minitaur in sub 15 seconds and is a 9-10s nightmare campaign farmer. I haven't seen any CC's show that as a feature

Got Quintus a week ago. Still building him, 16 million player power. Difficulty was like beating all of the factions.similar to Lydia

I love Live Arena, free primals and area bonus stats wherever you need to improve. I'm also in the OC cluster along with ya and some of us have a thing where if we run into another OC member we do all epic teams and that's a lot of fun.

Love the video. I've struggled to know what to do with Marius, to be honest. Threw him in a kind-of weak merciless six piece and he does smack. One real bonus is that he's affinity friendly as a void champ and particularly good at breaking other champs out of otherwise sticky consumption situations.

Mithrala, Lydia, Marius all Cool and strong Milestones Rewards and then there is Quintus😂😂 Not worth it, i mean he is an End Game Reward Champion! But still a great Showcase 👌. So he is not worthless

I'm on the last stretch, at about 3500 points, so 20 fragments to go to Quintus. But seeing gold II is full with accounts that are much more developed than mine, I see it as a long term thing. Live arena is fun, but the matchmaking and stale meta (pick armanz or ban him) makes it less fun than for instance silver, where at least you can pick whatever champ you want. At least I've gone from doing my 10 fights a day to just do a single one to not become hit by the inactivity system

Yeah gold is pretty brutal. I do the lose 3 and drop difficulty then win 2, repeat for 10 fights. You still add like 5 points a day even with the losses. I have been in Gold 2 for like 8 months. probably half way to Quintus but I have no need for him so I am not trying to get him acitvely.

@@aaronschmitt3159 Sounds pretty much like my experience yeah, some days I get some more wins than losses, other are loss streaks. Getting first pick is usually decisive. But indeed, slowly crawling up is fine too, I'm in no hurry to get him. Just happy Marius isn't locked behind him

Recently added Quintus to my Brutal hydra team and went up to 1,5bil. He did almost same damage as Varl (like 90%). Team included Eostrid, Uugo, Cardiel, Harima.

I picked up Quintus and have a 3 star blessing on him. I have him in lethal and 3 revenge accessories for live arena but the problem is exactly what you said: keeping him alive is difficult. I've also tried him with 4 pieces of stoneskin but he loses it too easily to be reliable. I really want to get him to work because his smackdowns are awesome, he can delete people when he gets going. He's also my campaign farmer now and gets good use in Sintranos. Finally, I enjoyed watching you start up WoW. I quit at the beginning of the dragon expansion and started this game.

He's great in hydra. I beef mine up to 9k atk and 300% c dmg when doing hydra. He'll hit 200k per hit on living heads and 700k per hit on decap with his A1. Throw a bloodshield accessory on him and he will keep himself alive easily.

It took me almost 2000 live arena battles to get Quintus. I took a year off and came back to live arena at the beginning of the Marius missions. Got them both now. Marius is much more useful.

my live arena focus is obtaining shields not actually aiming for Quintus. If I get him, then that's will be a bonus. Currently struggling to stay in Gold I.

I just got to Quintus last week. Did not build yet. I don;t have meta arena champs - primarily used Arbiter/Ankora, Narses, Warlord and Leo - after picking Armanz first - was able to get to 4K by focusing on the Marius missions - but above 4K I am getting owned lol - hoping Marius will help

He’s one of the best nukers in the game tbh especially free . One of the only champs in raid who can 1 shot ( A2 skill ) galathir , Taras , Harima , Siegfrund etc . He’s also a PvE monster great in hydra and other bosses

I’m slowly getting to Quintus. Live arena feels like such a chore and the times it is actually open make it worse. Right at reset I want to do things I actually enjoy in the game not rush into live arena. If I could pop in a few battles whenever I wanted I could more consistently use up my tokens each day. There really needs to be a much faster way to farm medals too.

I'm trying to Super slowly progress in Silver 3, but gear requirements are relatively high and my motivation is low. I've gotten some helpful champions lately and I just regeared my Harima, so maybe I'll be a bit more successful going forward, but the time issue is the most problematic honestly.

I don’t even bother with live arena. The few times I have attempted it I’ve been matched up with people that absolutely shit on my mid game account. This also happens to me in regular arena. I took a couple years off from the game and came back to so much power creep that I can’t climb out of silver. I’m guessing I’m stuck on a shard where everyone I’m with has been playing for those couples years that I was gone. (I think that’s how it works. It has in other games I have played. No clue if that’s the case in live arena as well.)

I think live arena is great but could be absolutely amazing and is so easily fixed, just do seasons and introduce restrictions but they won't because if the krakens

Live arena is 95% champion dependent. Gear and strategy matter 5%. Makes it a lot more like pulling a slot machine than creating and executing a strategy. This has gotten MUCH worse with Mythic champs. 4k seems impossible.

I think this is a common misconception. It’s gear. All gear. That said, that amazing gear on top champs compounds the issue. I see a lot of different teams in gold 3, but the gear remains absolutely insane. 400+ speed to win the race 95% of the time is ridiculous. I have a 9pc Siphi that has 398 speed, and she goes second all the time with speed lead…

I have him sitting in my summon pool. I think he will be worth more as points then he will add to my account. The effort to get him isnt worth the prize. If he was immune to polymorph and could hit through stone skin then he would be worth it!

low levels are not bad. through silver is pretty easy. The area bonus are massive though and you will fall behind if you are not at least randomly doing live. Gold is really tough with matchmaking but there are loop holes to exploit the match making for easier fights.

i think he isnt that good compared to the rest of the BEST damage dealers. Yes his damage is really high but he doesn't bring any utility. for example bunny/salad has inc speed and leach, varl has weaken and att down, ninja has burns, holsring has hex and dec speed and wallmaster has blockbuffs. they all do similar damage to and bring something extra. And when people get quintus they have some other really strong champions to substitute.

I just finished Marius 3 weeks ago. Looked last night and I am at like 3400. I hate pvp though and Quintis isn't worth the time of LA. LA is just who has the biggest wallet and it takes way too much time.

Got quintus and put him in the vault. In hydra there are better champ and the time you get him is not that usefull, both arena or hydra. (Ma'shalled, skinwalker bunny fusion and teumesia do more damage)

I've been in Gold 2 for around 8-10 months. I have a strat I use to get easy match ups so I am making little points towards Quintus. I probably could have obtained him 6 months ago but I see no value in him. Another vault guardian that I will get but Im in no rush. I think I'll have him by the end of the year just because of how the points work in Live. I hate Live Arena but the area bonus are so good for hydra and cursed city. I will max ignore defense in every area but have zero plans to finish every area like with the Affinity hall.

live arena is dogshit content that exists solely to frustrate players into spending money. terrible matchmaking, no placement matchs and no seasons or reset just shows how shitty plarium is at copying other peoples homework. plus pvp in general is so boring and based solely on how many 6 star polys you have. same champs every time, no participation rewards. classic arena that takes 2-5 minutes or more instead of 10 seconds or less.
