Quique Somenzini Transmitter View - Mamba 70cc

Quique does some flying on his Mamba 70cc, and we record both the flight and his transmitter view!
Quique flies Mode 1, where Throttle and Aileron are on the right stick, and rudder and elevator are on the left stick.

Wow seeing rolling harriers on mode 1 makes it seem like it was originally figured out on mode 1... it makes more sense that way it took me soo long to get rolling harriers worked out in both directions(mode 2 flyer)

I read your comment then watched the video. You are right. Everything seems to flow better mode 1. I'm a mode 2 flier and it seems to be more work for us or it just looks that way

In a way this is exactly why he decided to switch from mode 2 to mode 1 many decades ago. That opened a whole set of possibilities when he started getting into fully rolled cuban eights and then into developing torque rolls. Not too many realized how innovative Quique was and how much of the now popular 3D maneuvers are the evolution of what he achieved many years ago.

Depends on how and often where you were taught. Mode 2 is very dominant in the US, but not so much elsewhere. Mode 1 is quite popular in Europe.

@@FlexInnovations has he always flown mode 1? I have a training video on FS One flight simulator where he's flying mode 2. If he can swap between the two modes that's even more impressive. I wonder if elevator and rudder on a single stick makes rolling harriers and rifle rolls, etc. easier to control?

Not true. Get RF and modify some planes. The stock ones are garbage
