Hi there! I love sloths. They are very interesting critters. It's the wombats from Australia that have cubic droppings. Wombats are very territorial. They mark their territory with their droppings and the shape prevents it from rolling away - or so scientists believe.

Elephants are lovely gentle giants with strong family bonds but dangerous, especially the bulls when they get old.

@TheOddEarth-Show Yes, I have seen a few elephant attacks on people. David Attenborough has a new mini series out at the moment. He's done one with elephants in. One of the elephants has worked out how to create a road block, and the toll for passing is food. He knows not to bother with some, although he always stops the buses as there are plenty of people who have food with them. Gentle giant, not like some of the others. 🤣

@@Davidsdiscoveriesinnature There are many stories about elephant bulls, especially in the Kruger National Park where I once had to reverse for about 500 meters down a dirt track to get away from an ear-flapping bull elephant. He wasn't happy and I was in the way. Let me tell you, reversing slowly while a big elephant is walking towards you shaking his head and flapping those big ears, is terrifying. Luckily he lost interest after a while.
