Thanks for watching! The Thunderbird myth is a fascinating part of Native American folklore, particularly among tribes such as the Lakota, Cheyenne, and Blackfoot of the Great Plains. It’s always interesting to hear different perspectives on myths and legends. I’d love to know if there are other nature-related myths you’re familiar with!

If the largest Kraken carcass was 40 feet in length, then probability of bigger ones is quite high. The thunderbirds and their stormy shenanigans makes me wonder how scary nature must have been to early inhabitants. It's scary today, but for different reasons. Great video again. 😊

You make an excellent point about the Kraken! If 40 feet is what we’ve found, imagine what else could be lurking out there!. And yes, I can’t even imagine how early inhabitants must have viewed such powerful storms, especially without the modern knowledge we have today. It’s fascinating (and a bit humbling) to think about how myths like the Thunderbird helped make sense of such awe-inspiring events. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for always watching my videos. I really appreciate it!

@TheOddEarth-Show nice and quiet Sunday afternoon, just the way I like it. When were you going to make a video with your local wildlife? I would love to see the penguins, and dare I say it, these spiders that you have there. They give me shivers down my spine. 😆 🤣 😂

@@Davidsdiscoveriesinnature I'm busy with mythology for the moment - no mythology about nature here at this very spot. But I'll get to making a video about it someday.
