I have the 2014 model and I too love it! For a "cruiser" it's very light and nimble, also, Sport mode more aggressive than I expected also. Enjoy the ride and definitely will be looking forward to the updates.

Yes sir, getting tires replaced and fork seals changed, hopefully make it more lively than in current state.

I also have a 2015 CTX, and I love it. It's very comfortable to ride, and it handles very well. The two things that I've noticed are that I like the Michelin Pilot series of tires better than the Battleax tires tht come stock, and the turn signal lights are fragile, I've broken 2 without ever dropping the bike.

Thank you for sharing, the turn signal lights have a rigid arm which is probably why it tends to snap vs a soft rubber flexible arm. My bike came with totally worn stock tires so replacing it with some Kenda KM01(cheap touring) since it will most likely just be hitting city streets at low speed.

Congratulations! I have the same bike and its been a fantastic experience. Looking forward to your maintenance videos, especially the fairing removal... I need to replace the air filter and I've heard its quite a project 🙄

Thank you, as much as I want to do valve adjustment and change filters (even bought the cam cover gasket and air filter) the bike is totaled :( But based on my experience removing the front fairings to change the windshields, I think it won't be too complicated as some other video suggests! kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4PGlJiHnq6UZ5Y

Hi, congratulations on your purchase. I made a similar switch from a 1200cc to a CTX700 with DCT in May and have ridden 7,000 km, including a 3,000 km tour. I’m happy with this choice, considering 75% of the usage is city riding. Could you tell me how the OEM windscreen behaves? I used a GIVI and wasn’t very satisfied, while my friend has a Puig, and it’s also not perfect. Thanks.

Thank you. Sadly, someone ran me over and totaled my bike only days after publishing this review. So I'll have to look for a new bike... Mine came with the original "tall" windscreen. I actually replaced it with the "shortie" screen since I ride 95% of the time in the city, and the "tall" screen sends all the winds directly onto my face when on the highway and doesn't pass enough wind in the city to cool me down. I'm 5'7". I like shortie better as there is 0 buffering. I think with tall screens and a full-face helmet, you are golden for highway commuting. For the city, shortie is much better for airflow and comfort.
