Thank you for this!!! Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now. 9 years later, fully debt-free and over $100,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $40,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

I'm not so good at understanding finance. I've got 56k in my savings and a mortgage. I'm positive that I can pay off quickly once I get this job I've applied for. But, I don't like this house due to neighbors and the construction. Moving out isn't an option because homes are $2M in the same neighborhood. I feel stuck. The 401k and IRAs aren't helping much either. I started saving just 3 years ago.

Just when I was going to throw the towel in on the box truck business this great interview was posted. I had everything setup (LLC, EIN, ELD, magnet signs, pallet jack, load bars, straps, factoring company, had a driver). I paid for insurance and my authority became active and then I could not get a rental because they were always sold out at the time I entered the business…I’ve watched a few of The Box Truck Brothers videos on KZbin and I always liked what they had to say. I think I will try again but go the purchase route instead insha’Allah (Godwilling).

@KevoM9452 жыл бұрын
A lot of good info and this episode made me subscribe but I want to add a few things . First and foremost you gotta do everything to leave the load boards alone. Basically load boards are all the bread crumbs the stuff the brokers couldn’t move or like he said the double brokered loads. Also if the rate sounds too good it usually is. There are a lot of boilers who get MC’ and open an office at a virtual office they book nice loads for example I was pulling Power Only trailer moves and like he said earlier there’s nothing coming out of Florida and this broker had 5 trailers posted coming out going to Vegas and I’m in California so it was perfect. I took all 5 and delivered them. Sent my BOL’s to my factoring company and got paid but when the factoring company can’t get paid within 90 days they take their money back and you get a chargeback so I got hit with - $25,000. So be careful. As far as box trucks I know that it works a lot better on the east coast then the west coast. Because a lot of people don’t drive on the east coast a lot of semi trucks don’t go into New York because it really hard to drive there. People custom build a bed in a box truck so they don’t spend money on hotels motels. There’s a lot to learn but you have to do it hands on
