In regards to the young woman and the older man. The father perceived his friend as a morally upstanding individual. I would never say the father is to be blamed because how you perceive someone is how you perceive them. However, the father should have assessed the situation as time went on even if there was no trace of foul interaction. I am not making any excuses, but you can ask any qualified psychologist. Often times when an adult have any form of sexual desire for a young child it is because something was missing from their life as a child or an event occurred that triggered hormones that sparked interest. When a euphoric feeling falls upon us for the first time we always look to that same thing that induced that thing to repeat the same feeling. This is why people abuse drugs and alcohol. Not having healthy interactions with the opposite gender as a child can cause this too. Yes! an adult can find a child attractive, but sexual desire is a no, no because something is wrong. This is from a medical standpoint. From a street standpoint a some hot led him want Inna him bumboclaat. She is to be blamed too. The Jamaican culture provide to many opportunity for these young women to force ripe. I've been on jobs where I am working with teenage girls and they try to push their sexual innuendo and I redirect them. Some of them get to legal age and I still redirect them. Some men really need to have self-control too. This is too common in the Caribbean and in Latin America.
