That funeral one hit home, in my case, I was told I was not family and or blood related. Especially when I grew up with the same four siblings since baby, and I don't know no other daddy, from the man who raised me like the 4 of them in the same house. But the lady I knew and grew up as mom, say she is not my mother (all this nightmare on elm street took place 2 days after the burial) and her husband took me in and she was forced to accept me. She seems to treated me fairly whilst growing up, but when you are young and foo fool; no discernment back then, thinking its so. Then as an teenage young adult and into adulthood I recalled the nepotism and favoritism she showed for the other siblings (no longer called mom, now, step mom, or lady who once was married to my deceased dad). Dad treated me and the other siblings fairly, 2 girls, 2 boys and then their was me, the outside oops baby girl. The family contest the will and what was left for me, land and part of the family business. I was not allowed in the home i grew up in and to top it off, the siblings too turned their backs, especially my younger sister whom I thought we were best friends sisters, sloppy joe slap in my face, I cried and bawl you see I withdraw fighting for any land, inheritance and go bout my life in peace, for the passa passa and arguments were too overwhelming that my hair was falling out from all the stressors. Once a year or whenever I am near dove cot cemetery, I go lay fresh flowers and thank dad for raising me and loving me unconditionally like Father God has and teaches us all to love each other. Nevertheless, 5 yrs later, I was contacted by a lady who say she was my aunt, from my birth mother; low and behold, she was sleeping with dad and his best friend; auntie stated, they (bio mom, dad, bf) knew of their lovers arrangement. But since mom died aweek after giving birth to me, dad stepped up to assumed responsibility since he nor the bf NEVER KNEW she was pregnant, she kept it a secret (who is to know, she may have other lovers and no one knew). But leave it to God yah. She had her reasons. Step mom said, it was 3 months into their marriage she knew, for dad told her about me. they had a boy who was 13 months older than I; then me (loss sheep), later a girl, a boy and a girl (adopted). Therefore dad, bf was no where to be found, dead or alive, .... Now my auntie saying she knows not who is my father, but my dad's siblings and uncle, I took a DNA test and dad (deceased) was my biological father. Still with this, no acceptance with family. I left it be and move on, no communication nor contact. Thus, now doing well for self, got my education up to my doctorate and came back to Jamaica to see about business and finish build my home, (trust, not or near former family who rejected moi). My aunt, I don't know why communicates with step lady, and out of the blues heard voice messages from two siblings begging me money. I never called back, for those doors are sealed shut. But with respect told my aunt how dare her give my number to them who shunned me and rejected me, even fight me for the land, even when all of them get land too. So when auntie didn't see and respect that, I cut her off. For I forgave them, but have not forget their behaviour and wicked intentions. Years later, I found out the last girl and first boy from step lady was not deceased dad biological children, step mother dearest was keeping secret and part time lover with the community preacher man who claimed to be pastor bishop, lol lol. Poor daddy a roll in his grave big time and that charlatan pastor was always at the house, even for the occasional dinners or meal. Jah jah. But she, step lady is old, but not does not heed to apologize or KNOWS the HINDERANCE spiritually she bound her own children to for the lies. The son don't talk to her. But then again, I choose to eat my food and mind my business with them. They rejected and shunned me when daddy's corpse not even cold in the grave. That is it for now T & P Love the segment and I was so laughing and add one my stories.
