Pastor Kim McManus? Maybe Aaron & his mom Kim? I don’t recall seeing an episode with Kim, but there have been many episodes and I haven’t seen them all.

One thing I truly love about this episode is the genuine coaching and caring of Aaron for his dad. I love how Aaron aggressively fights for the value of his dad. I love Erwin’s heart and not be offended and to take criticism openly. This was a great example of family dynamic and pursuing the more! Thank you both

What an epic thing to say to your dad. That’s how we see your dad’s wisdom…when you rise up and bless him like that it shows he has lived authentically. Been following you all since the night club days. Aaron you were in NY. And I loved how your dad spoke about you. Thank you Erwin for enduring and overcoming.

There’s something so refreshing about your candid & transparent conversations about confidence. I love that Aaron has some of this “Ed Baldwin” bravado to spare. I think of it as a swagger frequency - a little “For All Mankind” reference: “your old man still has some pull at the office”, that’s Ed trying to sell his daughter on joining his expedition to Mars. In that Apple TV+ series, Ed Baldwin’s theme song seems to be Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me To The Moon” - definitely a swagger vibe. Still there’s something unearned about swagger isn’t there? Or is it just that gnawing voice of inadequacy that whispers “you’re not enough .. yet.” Always moving the goalposts of approval, making sure we never feel too good about ourselves. I so appreciate you both, I think of you both as my companions on the journey.

I just looked up your clothing line and I don’t know why people were talking a whole bunch of crap because it’s actually really good and if I knew about it then I most definitely would’ve bought some pieces 😍

Oof, I need to quit staying up past midnight. Would love updates on how you manage that. I work until 10p most nights so this is a big one for me. Also, I would like to suggest Olipop Coke as a healthy Diet Coke replacement. great topic💯

It seems like the people who SHOULD be more aware of their flaws never are and the people you wish would live with permission to acknowledge their own genius are often busy observing their flaws. It's almost as if their innate genius is what heightens their awareness of how wonderful the rest of them could be while those who are mediocre in every category have no genius on which they could stand and observe their flawed context. If you're standing on a flat surface, you can convince yourself you're 1000 ft. up in the air while the person whose internal world has high-highs and flawed lows is capable of seeing where they're flawed BECAUSE they have elevated expertise and genius in certain coordinates of their internal geography. It's an indictment on our society that we make Erwin feel the way he does. I want to see the world where Erwin, Aaron, and people like them are the new norm. Happy New Year guys.

I am still waiting and hoping and requesting for the podcast on human evil which was briefly touched upon in "navigating conflict" 8.22 and I think Aaron did say it will continue in the next podcast.

Totally understand both sides but actually Erwin’s already in his wheelhouse… we all have things to learn- yet He (Erwin) to me..only speak for me- there’s no question in my mind He’s genius and Jesus based on the beatitudes blesses humility and also- God is all over what’s he’s doing. Nothing there to fix.. ain’t broken in my opinion!

You can ask google to remove things are not accurate. I haven't done that in a while. I think you send a screenshot and a link. That information that is incorrect is probably residing somewhere on a website so you might have to go right to the source.
