I don’t blame you for quitting dude. I have worked at Walmart for 11 months and the managers there were absolutely terrible and they have treated me like garbage and they said I slack even though I keep a fast pace and do my job. One time, I was stocking freight and I had to go to the restroom. It took me a few minutes to get to and from because of the department I was in and I was only in there for 5-6 minutes. After I came back to continue stocking, a coach called me back to the coach’s office, yelled at me and wrongly accused me of disappearing and being in the restroom for 10-15 minutes and she was going to fire me if I did that again. I had to quit because I was going out of town first two weeks of July for a family vacation. I tried to tell them that I needed those weeks off for that and they said I could only get up to 10 days off and they would not listen to me. I’ve had enough. To everyone who is looking for a job, do NOT work at Walmart!! The pay is bad and the managers will treat you poorly!!!

i don’t blame you for quitting man, I’m about to. I just did some freight from “paper” and they said I’m going to slow. I was working as fast as i could. i told them i have a bad back because of a wreck i had when i was 3, 21 years ago. They gave me a disciplinary action. “Yellow” or whatever. i hate this job. They don’t care about you or your health. Just their productivity. Don’t die for a company that doesn’t give a crap about you!

Walmart never trained me, they constantly changed my hours when they didn't need me on that schedule, even though I talked with my managers about a specific schedule and they were fine with it. Sometimes I would just get zero days in a week, and there was nothing I could do because I was part-time.

True they will try to make you work hours that you didn’t sign for. I signed an availability sheet saying I’m only available to work from 10am to 7pm. Because no one wants to work the closing shift. They try to make me work 2pm to 11pm. I not racist. But there are a lot of black Karen. They always think that they come before everyone else. If you’re helping another consumer before them. These bitches would report you to a manager saying you refused to help them. Even you were helping another customer. The manager would get on to you.

They fired me last year on May 12 for finding $100 and failing to turn it in before my shift. I accidentally said I didn’t have it and I remembered I did but looking back I should’ve never touched it and I would’ve still had my job. The customer called it in, of course. Looking back, getting fired was one of the best thing that’s ever happened. I was only unemployed for 18 days and, a job at a grocery store that I got after Walmart though they jerks me around as well and hardly giving hours but hiring new people and have the nerve to tell me I’m working efficiently. If I have something that goes on aisle one, why am I gonna wait until the end of my shift to put it back even though it’s not perishable and I’m already there so I wanna work smarter and not harder. I went to another supermarket job that I had worked to before Walmart. It’s until I find something else. Walmart is straight up trash. Now the manager that fired me looks at me with a dirty look whenever I walk in there to shop but last I checked I’m a customer now. I regret what I did, but looking back, getting fired from there was probably the best thing. The less I give Walmart And Sam Walton’s children, the better. I hope one day I see Walmart and Sam’s Club go under. Nobody gives a crap about you unless your last name is Walton, your born into their family or your married into their family. These managers there don't realize that even they can be replaceable. Sure, they can be transferred, but after a few transfers, they eventually will be fired after a few employee and especially customer complaints.

I worked at a Walmart a few years ago, I'm fluent in Spanish and English and I decided (me, myself and I decided lol) to wear a badge that said "Yo hablo Español" and one day I was on my lunch and I heard my csm (manager) page my name but when I first started working there they made it so clear that when we were on lunch, break, or even off the clock we are not to do anything whatsoever when it comes to work because of this big ass lawsuit they had... So anyways after my lunch I clocked back in went to the front and my csm called me into the office so pissed her face was hella red lol and she TRIED to yell at me about not responding to their page because there was a customer who spoke only Spanish and they wanted to buy a T.V and "because I didn't go translate" they lost out on the sale.... I sat there and looked at her for about 20 seconds after she was done telling me this bullshit and I said "Let me tell you something, I WEAR THIS BADGE TO HELP PEOPLE! Y'ALL DON'T EVEN PAY ME MORE TO DO THIS AND YOU WANNA YELL AT ME BECAUSE I WAS ON MY LUNCH AND DIDN'T RESPOND?!?!?" I took that badge off so fast and told her from now on they do not ask me to translate unless they're going to up my pay. She then said "So are you saying if management asked you to do it you won't?" I said aren't you management??? She said yes, I said well then I guess we're all clear on this. Now I'll get back to my register. And I walked out of that office and that was that.... But how fricken dare her! Omg I'm getting upset about it right now writing this hahahaha

I worked for Walmart a whole 3 days! First problem I had with them is that another young lady was hired the same day I was. I had more experience in customer service, but yet her starting pay was higher than mine and she was given more hours than I was. Second problem I had is that they just put me in a department with no training whatsoever and left me there without any direction on what they wanted me to do. Third problem was, on my third day there, they tried putting me on a register with no training on their system. Who does that? Everyone I encountered had an attitude from hell and if they were treated the same way I was, I can totally understand why they all were so pissy. I couldn't work for such an unorganized company and obnoxious management. I said all this to say, I don't blame you for quitting.

I agree with you, I worked for them too at one time. And working as a cow hand was way way better than working for Walmart. The staff was always short and they would expect me to do the job of 3-4 departments by myself. But love how they would tell me to drink monster energy drinks to get my job done quicker. Plus even when I was off the clock at a local bar. And was talking to someone who didn’t work at Walmart,but a off the clock assist manager heard me saying how much the job sucks. So he told upper management about it and they tried writing me up for it. Which I told them they are welcome to do that,but I would go to the state AG as well as the state employment Agency . I agree with management that you should give a 2 week notice. However, Walmart is partly to blame for not giving you enough hours to make a living. They seem to only care when they are inconvenienced, but caring less, for example, about the impact on employees when they cut hours. I'm 62 and the work culture and ethic have changed in my lifetime, some for worse, some for better. I was taught that quitting without notice was wrong and could impact your future reference from past company. Only twice did I not give a two week notice and this is because of something that has changed for the better in recent decades and that is that is our society in general no longer tolerates sexual harassment or abuse in the workplace. In the late 70s I worked my first job as a young teen girl at age 16. I was being harassed to the point of abuse by one male employee right in front of management and they did nothing to stop it and laughed about it. This creep threatened me verbally several times as well. One night I was followed home in my car by someone in another car I could not identify, but I suspect it was him. I feared for my life, but was able to speed and get home where I broke down and told my parents what was going on. My Dad who was the one who taught me to give a two week notice said this was an exception and had me immediately quit and reported the incident to police. The other time was at age 20 in early 80s and my first day on the job the boss called me in his office and asked me out on a date. I told him I was engaged and not interested, both true. Second day on the job he began making advances on me. I excused myself saying I needed to use the restroom, headed directly to my car, left and never returned. He didn't even deserve the courtesy of hearing "I quit!" Surely, he knew why and I'm sure I wasn't first or last for this pervert to try this on. Thank goodness they made stricter laws on sexual harassment in the workplace as it was badly needed.

It looks like he wasn't considered a full time employee, which waves the benefits and good pay. If they give him more hours that match a full time status, he would be eligible to apply for those benefits, which they most likely aren't willing to do. When you're already in a retail position like that, it takes a lot of time to even be considered internally to switch to a full time position. I'm not sure about walmart or their practices, but a lot of retail companies practice this.

I currently work at Walmart in the HBA department. I work the mid shift 10am to 7pm. I’m the only one working that shift. I have to work freight,zone and do reshop. Only reason why that no one wants to work there. Is the managers and low wages. Rude consumers. I not racist. But most of the black women would give you hell. You helping another consumer. These idiots ask you where an item is. You don’t answer them because you’re looking for an item for the other consumer. That stupid idiot Karen would report you to your manager saying you refuse to help them. Manager would take their side. Because they don’t want to lose an idiot consumer.

1. If they were using a system to auto populate your work schedule, you should have let them know that you have no hours scheduled, and asked if it was correct. Just like you went to the front manager to quit, you could have seen her regarding the other issues. 2. If they actually scheduled all the non working hours, they were trying to get rid of you by not firing you, and making you quit. If so, it worked.

They did that to me at Publix for not meeting expectations and I was there 5 months. They were trying to get me to quit and not fire me and it worked. I'm back at a previous job that I left in good terms before Walmart, that is Winn Dixie. Its lower pay and also part time, but at least I'll be getting more hours instead of 1-3 days a week at Publix or one day a week or every other week when they feel like it. While Walmart fired me and I'm not rehireable for finding $100 at grocery self checkout before my shift and not turning it in and forgetting I had it and then I gave it back, gross misconduct, but was not arrested. I don't approve what I did, but I am happier that I'm out of Walmart in a sense. Things happen for a reason. I'm promoted to customer, I get what I need when I go back to my old store and get out. I talk to a few former coworkers and if the manager that fired me gives me lip, I won't say nothing and anonymously report them a few times to corporate. I'm a customer shopping now. Walmart is now the worst job I ever had. Before that, it was Home Depot. Home Depot is now number 2 behind Walmart being number 1.

It's a total slave labor scam... they pay low wages THEN when associates are paid they spend like 75% of thier pay AT WALMART... so essentially,walmart gets free labor... its a racket... and the jobs sucks for sure, but it would've been better, much better, from an employment standpoint,to stay with a job you've already invested 2 years into and work only day shift for those 1 to 2 days a week and deliver pizzas or something at night, to make up for the low income... at least that way, you have the money you need AND you get a good reference also, now 2 years of life is just wasted..no benefit nothing but memories..

You can’t make any real money at a place like that unless your in UPPER MANAGEMENT, Not store manager. Their is a lot of high paying Jobs out their. Or sharpen your skills or learn a trade. Everyone has to do what is best for them at the time. I suggest, Don’t ever settle for a paycheck. Create your own wealth! Looks like you are! Congrats on the mercy, Wish you well!

I worked for Walmart for nearly 6 months, love the people. I worked for 2 locations, one shutdown but the managers and everyone at my first location were the kindest souls I’ve ever met, they honestly didn’t deserve to get shut down because of how awesome the managers were. As for the 2nd location which is the one I work for right now, it sucks. Cause I’ve did stocking for a month before they demoted me to cashier cause of how they were litterally monitoring my cheeks because I couldn’t pull the next avengers level threat for their unrealistic egos. I love the front end and the co-workers and all but tbh after recently got put through stocking candy with 2 frates and trash, that was the final straw. I’ll either put my 2 week notice when I get offered or give my resignation notice professionally and maybe reveal my disability which is autism. This is something I solely refuse to let anyone know since I usually know my place and know exactly what I’m doing for the job title for the majority part of the time.

I would normally reply under my comment but I’ll put my update on here since I have more to say about the Walmart location I worked at. Today was my last day and I start my new job tommorow at a bowling alley, it’s the same pay tbh but at least I’m out of Walmart. I did truly enjoyed working with my co-workers and such. Apparently after I put in my 2 weeks, I’ve gathered a lot of information and recently gotten more details about this one incident with a co-worker which I’ll include more details in a bit. My co worker which I’ll call her Jenna, Jenna is one of the co-workers who would sometimes vent to me, I also do see her dad too when I work there, he used to do carts with me before he quit but i still see her dad, which he’s the chillest dude I’ve ever spoke with. Anyways she recently got moved to front end, probably because me and this other guy put in our 2 weeks at around the same time, just a day apart. I sort of found a new job and put in my 2 weeks just so she could somehow get in cause I truly felt bad for her because when she was a stock person the stock manager was giving her some shit, similar to me, she was getting better but she still got in at front end. As the days passed, I’ve spoke with this guy which I’ll call him Henry, he worked as a stock person for about a week, apparently he got denied which obiously it could happen as he only been there for a week, I felt bad for his case too cause he also has a grandma he’s taking care of like mines except she’s at a retirement home and I always visit her on Monday’s. Henry apparently tried to ask the stock manager to train him but he kept asking and eventually wanted to move to a different department but his request was denied. I haven’t seen him for a while but tbh I sort of told him to quit his job and sort of tried to get him to apply at where I’m at, which I don’t blame him if he doesn’t as everyone has their own choices and I’m not the boss of their choices, I can’t stop anyone but I do try to help and give suggestions as much as I can. As I was talking with Jenna on the same day, allegedly he was accused of stealing and asked to leave. Earlier today I recently found out that he was apparently giving money to one of the co-workers who works at the front end, haven’t talked to her like that but seen her a few times. Apparently Henry and the other lady were accused by the stock manager and this other guy, they asked them to leave. I wouldn’t blame him if he left due to that experience. What I’m about to tell you right now this new info I got was from one of the managers I wasn’t expecting to hear from and I sincerely feel bad for the front end managers at that location I work at. Apparently when I was on break, one of the front end managers I’ll call her Gwen, she talked about where I’ll be working at and such since I was leaving, she’s been there for 7 years trying to pay bills while working there. From what she said, she’s trying to find a new job every now and then, recently she got an interview with the IRS. Hopefully that goes well for her, anyways she said she doesn’t blame me or anyone for leaving. The store used to have overnight people but they kept quitting and coming back and quitting again, since it’s been repeated they stopped operating overnight. Since most people quit everytime the management presumably the stock manager and a few others blame the front end managers because people kept leaving. I really felt bad for those people. Some managers including the stock managers, they are great as a person outside but horrible at management. Not including front end managers since they were the kindest souls I’ve met. After this reply, this truly ends my saga for working with Walmart, oh yea I might start my own comic book series, might actually be about my Walmart experience slightly. Im currently working on creating a good script for it. But who knows maybe if it becomes so successful I might quit whoever I’m working for and do that full time.

You shouldn't have to get multiple jobs just to take care of bills.

Dude...yeah walmart sucks as a company and all but everything you said, not enough hours, tired of putting in all the effort for a crappy paycheck,etc etc... honey this is called LIFE! Unless you are highly educated or highly trained in a specialty area. You are ALWAYS gonna work crappy jobs for low pay... the shit REALLY hits the fan with you get to the point in your life of having a wife,kids,a mortgage! You are still so young. . Either get used to xrappy jobs and A LOT more videos like this OR... change your future NOW, before it's too late for you! Go to college, get a degree, get shine hands in training and THEN sit back and wait for EMPLOYERS TO CALL YOU! Also, be prepared to wake up early and be at written before the sun comes up too. Just some advice from an older woman who has been there, take it as you will😉

Also tell me this. Would you quit a job if you were only making 400 every month?
@TamraAdnan786
@TamraAdnan786 2 жыл бұрын
@@JohnnysVlogz why did you work there 2 years and wait this long to determine you needed more money? You could've just gotten a pt job st night to make up gor the extra $$ that you needed. Now,2 years and NOTHING.. you quit without notice now you can't even get a good reference outta them and no one's gonna want to hire a person with a reputation for quitting on the spot and leaving the company with not enough employees...it was just a very poor and immature decision not well thought out...$400 is still better than $0 and how soon will you be able to monetize your YT channel? It will probably be quite awhile before you even see $400 a month from YT..honey, it's just LIFE... I am a 51 year old grandmother..believe me when I say,life is way too short,it will pass you by on the blink of an eye... do you want to ALWAYS have low paying crappy jobs? spend your time NOT on YT trying to be one of the 1% who make it big, spend your time trying to become SOMEONE INTELLIGENT AND RESPECTABLE.. start a business,get certified in something that can earn you a GREAT income and DO IT BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE! Make mature decisions..

@@JohnnysVlogz so not trying to crush your dreams dude, I'm sorry if it came off that way... just trying to keep things real... times have really changed since I was a teenager so I assume things are a lot different now but still how is quitting your job on a win going to benefit you in the future? you made your video) Ike its no big deal if you quit a job that doesn't respect you and pays low wages but it IS a big deal,eventually you may end up needing the 1-2 days of work .. you MAY need that job reference in your future, as proof of your hard work.... for 2 whole years you have up what you REALLY wanted to do just do you could be at work when they needed you. So now how do you explain those 2 years on your resume? I'm sorry if I'm going over bounds here, I'm a mother of 3 sons, all older than you and I explain this to them the same way ...
