Elijah should teach students in his school how to handle a police encounter. He remained calm, quietly explained what happened. No cursing, screaming, fighting, shouting 'don't touch me'. He is a wise young man. Great job, Elijah ! Congrats to his mom.

Imagine screaming "stop" and "we're minors" then repeatedly squaring up to a police officer instead of literally just standing there like they could have done. Kids like that turn into adults like that and that's gross.
@Incognito17866 ай бұрын
The whole "we're minors!" thing reminded me of the one interaction I had with the police that wasn't them thinking I was a drug dealer. Country ass white guy came up to me, while I was sitting in my car outside my friend's house, yelling at me. I rolled the window down and he punched me in the face. Then he called the cops, and the cops were personal friends of his and said since I "did something wrong" and that he also did something wrong, they were just gonna call it even. Except, his two sons (age 15 and 16), and his wife said they saw him walk up to me and punch me in the face and his accusations that I violated the law were false. His wife even said he was very, very drunk, very, very racist (I'm not white), and that her husband did indeed assault a minor. I was either 16 or 17. TL;DR: White racist punches 16 or 17 year old in the face, without provocation, then calls the cops. Cops that respond are personal friends of his, and they decide to do nothing despite multiple witnesses stating that white racist guy assaulted a minor, without provocation.
@FarmerFpv6 ай бұрын
@@Incognito1786 Dam, dude, that guy who hit you belongs in prison. Being drunk is no excuse for hitting someone. He should also be charged with a hate crime. That's messed up! Sorry, you went through that as a kid. I'm a conservative. Racism has no place in this world. I came from Italy as a minor. They would call me a wop and always try to throw hands with me telling me to go back to pasta land. They were all white liberal kids. They turned me into a conservative. I know it's nothing as serious as your encounter. Your aggressor should be locked up for multiple felonies and hate crimes. I hope you didn't let it get in the way of your life growing up. God Bless, Sir.

I'm super glad the officer continued to tell Elijah he's not in any trouble, for he did seem quite nervous. Thank you for ending this video with this clip. Those girls have been told over and over that they're the victims and that cops can't do anything to them because they're minors. It's shameful. I would've called her mom for her because I'm guessing mom isn't gonna be happy with this behavior...and if she's okay with it then you know where the disregard for others came from. Kids don't just start life by acting like this. This is learned behavior. Unfortunately. It's also mob mentality or group think, meaning that they'd probably be fine one on one and more respectful but when you put them together...it's a mess. These girls shouldn't be allowed by their parents to hang out with each other because they're all bad influences on each other. Again...they're probably okay one on one.

That last kid, honest, I feel for him and his family. I game (I'm a grandmother of 9....) and it would be awful if I got a knock on my door because I was in raid and said "I just killed 2 people" and somehow that went into a 911 call. I would die of embarrassment. The game may have a time stamp they could check to see when he was online and that might help out his cause a bit. I know I have my phone next to me when I'm online. As for the other kids, well, they were stupid and got to find out what happens. Calling 911 is NOT a prank, it's a crime to report something that didn't happen. As for the second group, the words "Yes, sir. No sir. and I'm sorry" go a long way to being a nice person instead of cuffed in the back of the police car. And if I had seen body camera footage of my daughter acting like that, there would be no bail, just a judge and whatever happened. I love her dearly but the fact she was old enough to know better means she was responsible for her actions there. Life lessons sometimes hurt.
