quitting world of warcraft (but not social media)

i love this video. my grandparents got me into WoW around BC but i’ve been in the same state of on and off since BFA. I hope you keep your old vids tho. Now i just get a 2 month sub card every few months or so, log in once and check the mail box, and don’t log back into it for a while. I’m in the mindset now of i don’t really wanna play until i see an expac that i want to play but ehh ya know

I quit during cataclysm about the same time I noticed a lot of my warcraft friends were either moving on, too, or realm/faction changing. I came back at hubby's urging in BFA and found not a single friend remained. I quit again 5 months ago.

You're appreciated for sure brother. Thank you for keeping your vids up. I definitely use them regularly. How sad you feel about leaving WoW in the past is how I felt about Asheron's Call. That game was my end all, be all favorite mmorpg ever. Thank you for what you do!

Great video. And yea, you’re right Blizzard messing class up is messed up. I’m sure some people find re-learning stuff fun but I don’t. I’ll still play, I’m in a good guild even I have issues. Good luck and have fun!

World of Warcraft will always have a special place in our hearts. But it has been a pain in the Butt for a while. I’ve hated the fact that to continue in game and story, you have to dungeon and raid this and that all the time and it became boring. I love in world content and then there is Warfronts and Islands.. No, I’m not going to go into that.

I quit the game too. I was no longer interested either in the game and wanted to focus more in my personal life. I've been playing since Vanilla. I think it's fair enough that all of us met great and asshole people. Enjoy your time.

They make sure every system takes so long complete or max out that it becomes a chore. Anima gathering, mount farming, even m+. Having your key downgraded is certainly a mechanic that makes it so you always have to PAY for your mistakes. It's not enough to get good and evetually level up your key, you constantly have to re-level it to levels you have already completed. I can go on but you understand what I'm saying. Everything is made so you get SICK OF IT before you ever finish it, which means you never get to be satisfied with anything without becoming a chore long before that.
