This might be one of my favourite South Park specials yet and the amount of hilarious commentary on both the exploitation of the American healthcare system, insurance and sugar corporations exploits people's desires to be healthy plus the intensity of that Mad Max style truck battle was sick asf. Seeing Kyle genuinely care to help Cartman even if its just out of spite for the healthcare system was surprisingly wholesome. Skinny Cartman is so cursed and uncanny to watch.

It's true Quizzy, Ozempic is actually prescribed for diabetics. Not everyone reacts well to it. I'm Type II, I tried one injection and was vomiting sick for a MONTH. Not a good experience!

I don't know how much weight you normally lose with Ozempic but I feel like 1.3 lbs in the first week is really nothing. I lost 3 lbs my first week of weight loss without Ozempic and I was only trying to lose 10-15 lbs of vanity fat. Usually, the first week you lose the most because a lot of it is water weight. At Cartman's size, 1.3 lbs is like a bowel movement.

Second comment. I like how they transitioned from fast and the furious to Mad Max when the cereal mascots attended the party 🤣💪 And from the end. It's not just about will power, Kyle is right about the pharmaceutical industry. I weighted 110kg and by pure will power I got down to 75. Then I got sick and got in to prednisolone treatment and quickly gained 30kg even though I was holding back with eating as much as I could. The I began the Ozempic treatment whilst still on Prednisolone and all it did was neutralize the weight. Not gaining but not losing weight either even though I had only ate between nothing to one slice of bread (mostly dark rye bread, soft bread with Multigrain). When I finally was healthy enough to get off the prednisolone treatment I started losing weight quickly. So yeah there's something in most treatments that has weight increasing ingredients that even Ozempic can't "defeat" which means it's not always about will power
