I read the book of Enoch and I think its complicated information. For me it explains metaphysics and gives reasons as to why mankind wasn't taught certain things. Mankind can be easily spiritually manipulated. The Watchers taught men things against the instruction of God, not to mention had sex with and married women creating havoc on Earth with their off spring. It showed me that it blurred the lines of the angelic and human relm and opened humans to supernatural phenomenon that God didn't ordain for humans. It actually helped me understand why God didn't give us access to this knowledge. It makes me aware that knowledge out of time or out of it's original purpose is deception. It makes me think of what I've read or been taught and ask the question is this what God wants me to know? I'm more careful, cautious. I believe I learned and know things now from reading the book and with more knowledge comes more responsibility and a different level of accountability. I would challenge people to ask why they want to read it? Why do you need to read it? Then pray and ask God do you need to know what is in the book? Sometimes I wish I hadn't read it. Sometimes I'm glad. But seeking knowledge for knowledge sake can be a snare. My conclusion is ask God and live accordingly. The Holy Spirit is our true guide to all truth and knowledge. Enoch was incredible! He had a unique relationship with God. I'm not Enoch,what does God have for me to know, that should be my quest.

Very true that "knowledge out of purpose or time is deceptive." Could it be that the guilt caused the deceptors to woe many on their side, so that they don't go down alone and scorn the Almighty and Creator, off the original purpose? The Babel Tower mentality origin and intent. Nothing will be hidden for ever. Humanity need to learn from other creatures' behavior. This book actually scared me to life and showed me how sinister this world ruled by Satan really is… it spiritually made me ask, seek and find salvation through Christ. I wanted to know and study more. My dad told me when I accept Christ Jesus, believe, trust, follow and obey Him, I don’t need to worry about anything else in this sinful and crooked world. We can’t let the cares of the world consume us. Ask for the Holy Spirit to guide….

You were blessed with a Man of vision, hope and faith. For it does reflect the notion, "If God is for you, who then can harm you? Of whom do you need to fear? N one. for the men of earth may be able to put the body to death, but, only God has the power to destroy the soul as well and that is the one thing that lives on, not your earthly vessel that so many hold onto so desperately. for Jesus said man will spend his last cent to save his own life, when from the day you were born you owed a death. Death is merely the next evolution of your spirit being. do not conform to this world and its great nothingness, build your treasures in Heaven where moth and rust do not corrupt. @@FreedomofspeechisgodI think you are missing the point of the original post. Enoch was never a part of the "Bible". Never was a part of the Torah (Old Testament). Originally all religious writings were in the form of scrolls. There are ancient religious writings which claim to be divinely inspired and to be actual words from God and others that make no such claim. Early Jewish leaders, as stated in this video, determined that the book of Enoch was NOT divinely inspired word from GOD for the reason listed in the video. Ditto for 3rd/ 4th century Christians and continuing onward. Imo the original poster here is stating that the Holy Bible as we know it is exactly as GOD wishes it to be and have confidence in that.

Humiliating and hurting non-believers not only has the blessing of Allah, but it is ordered as a means of carrying out his punishment and even "heals" the hearts of Muslims.

@@kennethderrickson8840 and some people read both and all sorts of books. It's not yours to judge. People are just that, people and they do all sorts of things for many reasons. I've read the Bible and the book of Enoch, and other books taken out of the American Christian Bible. Why because I wanted to know what they said and make a judgement for myself. Ethiopian's have a Bible with many more books than ours, are they wrong? Their Bible is closer to the original because it contains those books that American Christians shun. The book of Enoch is a Book of the Bible.

@@Alfred-yf5vv I have 10 bibles translations and none of them have the book of Enoch in it, so it’s not part of the Bible. I had a book of Enoch and threw it away when I read things contradictory to the Bible. I knew there were lies in it, so I canned it. I’m not saying all is untrue, but I know the Bible is truth. I wasn’t judging, I was making a true observation.

@@dexteradventure7438 The clue is to test the fruits of the Tree. Many things are true and some are simply manmade fabrications. Test the word with prayer and ask the Holy Spirit to assist you. That is why the helper was sent. Enoch was unique among men, especially the first men. And according to the written word even the angels questioned why he as asking so much about things that were not knowledgeable to Man at the time. And he WAS shown many things. Will it solve your life's problems? Probably not. But it can give you a glimpse into that which was unknown and that is what the Church is afraid of. They even persecuted wise men that said the world was round long after Enoch already knew it. The powerful average mind cannot comprehend WISDOM and fall back to Man's understanding which has proven time and again to be wrong.

I believe that if the book of Enoch was ever made into a movie trilogy it’s success would rival or exceed Harry Potter or the Hunger Games . After seeing (for the 20th time) The 10 Commandments Easter weekend and marveling at the production quality Hollywood should definitely do it before we run out of time .

I’ve read the Book of Enoch several times, so did Jesus and His apostles. They probably understood it a lot better than we do today, but there is nothing in it that contradicts any of the other books in Torah or the New Testament.

Clearly you have limited experiences in what the Bible is or how to assess an alternative theoretical ideology. Jesus was given much knowledge, even insight which no man before ever had. Yet he never once mentions it and the Torah which was accepted as the Word of God (The first 5 books of the bible is the Torah and every Jewish child must read it, memorize it, and speak of it at the 13th coming out party Bar or Bat Mitvah) Reading it several times only teaches you to be able to be deceived beyond a measure of understanding of its meaning and relative relationship. And Since no word from Enoch has ever been written from his time that has been proven how can you possibly consider it to be all true? There are many verses that talk about man's sin and their inability to be saved, which is in direct polar opposite of the New Covenant. And whether or not he asked for forgiveness of the Watcher's you will only find out when you get to heaven, so arguing the point here is mundane and inappropriate. For me, I always wondered HOW could he ask for something when above all other things the Angel's have been given knowledge that has been sealed from our knowledge, they also excel in strength and were God's First Creation. How could a mere Man intercede on their behalf? I do not think it possible at all. Even with all the precursor's of the coming of Christ with Joseph, Melchizedek and a few others that actually portrayed the goodness of God and his righteousness before men. Even the Prophets to the Jews were persecuted and put to death. How then can you profess to believe anything and know it to be true without first TESTING It?

I was recently shocked when I found a forbidden book on Borlest called Whispers of Manifestation . trust me, guys, I have never seen anything like it in my life. This is the first time I'm coming across something like this. But not too long I had a dream where I was in an environment filled with people both wicked, evil l, demons and all sort of sorcerers and clearly I heard a voice said in my ears this is the first heaven. And in a flash I raised my head and through the clouds I saw angels full of light, it was so glorious and beautiful,full of glittering and light. The book of Enoch should have been added to the Bible .I have learned a lot from the voedo,I believe Enoch was braling it down and giving us his experiences and the way he saw it,in his own words .And there are also references in the bible,that tryes to help ones to understand the meaning ,and the Bible also send you to different scriptures and verses in the bible.Its like a dictionary. I have gotten the unferstanding of what he was say,its like he was telling us every thing as a story.To give us a better understanding,like explaining it to a child,so that we might grow and trust God and truly understand every thing.My 6 years old granddaughter was also listening to the book with me and she dtarted asking me question.She said she like the story,becauseshe understand it as a child does.She knows about God.We goes to church,and her mother also teaches her and talk to her about who God is,and his love towards all of us his children.She sings church music with her mother when they are driving in the car,and she even get to sing a verse of every song .She orayes at night before going to bed, and while eating and she gives thanks to God.The Bibke out of the mouths of babies,and children .I truly believe thfy understand the Bible better than us grown up,because God,and the Angles speaks to them when the were newborn babies.Have you ever pay attention to your new born babies,when they were born.They are always looking up at walls and celings,and smiling, and also they look like thdy are talking to some one but you cannot see them.But the newborn babies does.All praise and glory to God Amen.That is my opinion Amen.

The Book of Enoch is considered inauthentic and apocalyptic, and was written during the Hellenistic period. The only version of the book that exists is an Ethiopic translation.

The book was not banned from the Bible , it just was not included in the Canon by the early church father's because the information has nothing to do with salvation. When they brought all the books that we have, they kept the ones that had the most credible accounts such as first hand eyewitness accounts of the Hebrew history and prophetic accounts leading up to Christ's arrival,the four Gospel accounts and books pertaining to the history of the establishment of the early Christian faith.

I always thought it was silly it wasn't included since it explained what they took for granted bc everyone knew about the giants and considered if common knowledge. The book of Joel is literally taken from it and Jesus did acknowledge it as scripture by quoting it, I believe. But recently I've heard Enoch himself said there would be a book by which the righteous would live but His book should not be included. It was written for those who are led to it by the Lord. In otherwards it's by assignment. That makes sense to me. It's like a front line book in spiritual warfare. The righteous do well just learning to live righteously in obedience but then there are those called to do more direct warfare with powers that be. No one not announced, or gifted specifically should engage just like in any other war. Many are to be protected. It is enough to resist the devil by obeying God's word and seeking His heart in any given situation.

It was authored by Enoch and it was Enoch himself that told his sons to hide the book away cause it was meant for the last generation and that the current generation would not understand. It was left out because it was a first hand account of Enoch and what he saw in the Heavens. Michael and Gabriel and other Arch Angels gave him the tour and Enoch wrote everything down. It wasn’t divinely inspired, it was practically experienced. That’s the difference between The Book of Enoch and the Holy Bible. Enoch was known as The Holy Scribe. He didn’t need to be divinely inspired because God took him up to Heaven and gave him an All Access Pass to the inner workings and Enoch knew that it would not be accepted and understood, but he knew that this woke generation would see it for what it is. And understand it in modern terms.

"Much of Enoch is inconsistent with scripture". I read that there were other authors that added to the Book of Enoch over time. And there was a second Book of Enoch added as well. Which could explain it's inconsistency. However, the account of the Watchers and the end times prophecies concerning "The Son of Man" tie right in with the Book of Revelation. The late Dr. Michael Heiser, a foremost scholar of Enoch, stated that "The Son of Man" reference to Jesus, only appears once in the Old Testament in the Book of Daniel, lending it credibility. So it requires prayer and discernment to decipher that which was originally wrote by Enoch and that which was added to it. We do know that Enoch walked with God and one of few men that was taken up into heaven and did not see death.

This is why the book of Enoch was not taken out it just was not added. Back in that day people couldn't read and they needed a way for the word to travel they made the Bible light to be carried along the trade routes. That's the real reason

According to what I understand, they removed the book of Enoch because we humans are not kind enough to read it, most humans will be corrupted by this knowledge if their morals are not solid enough, heck there is a high chance that humans read this now, there are some people will create so cult that worship the creature in the book Enoch, and some will be confused or lost their way if their fate to god is weak

In 2008, the Lord introduced me to the Mysteries cult via a sub-cult called the mother-son cult. He also connected Mystery Babylon with Isaiah 47 for me that summer. He kept bringing Babylon’s children before me until He sent me on a mission to discover the symbols of the cult from Sumer forward in 2011. I began to see the cult symbols He spoke against in the Bible. He specifically told me to study 1 Enoch and Jubilees. Many questions I had while studying the books we have been allowed to have, by ungodly men, were answered!! I did have a lot of push back about reading those books which, interestingly, are clearly referenced in what we DO have.

Enoch was and still Is one of the most high’s greatest prophets! He is acclaimed for many things! The Ethiopian Bible is the last and only text that still has the book of Enoch in it! God never replaced it. It was man who foolishly took that book out from the holy book. Because to these narcissistic scholars they felt as though the text didn’t fit in through the rest of the book. The Bible has been watered down for years. Keeping the children of man blind to the enemy’s tactics and crimes. Leaving us defenseless and un aware. But Ethiopia also the garden of Eden the REAL BOOK is still There. Not tampered with by un Godly hands. The actual truth. U just have to do some digging. Most want to say it is false teachings. However Africa especially Ethiopia is where one of the first bibles were written. HOLY GROUND. The book of Enoch is a great account of the early history but i think it should be used as a history book giving us wonderful insight to these days. But is it the word of god ? I personally don't think so but each to there own

As I read the book of Enoch, I connect it to the message of some verses in the holy bible and understand why God gave his only son for us to be save from our sins. Because of our unrighteousness we cannot enter the gate of heaven. The reason why Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for us to be cleansed and made us holy to be worthy to enter the kingdom of God, and gave us the Holy Spirit to make us righteous and leave our sinful nature in the past. Our almighty God is so forgiving and love us that he sent his only son for us to be save. As John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We should still focused on the message of the holy bible and pray for undestanding whenever we read a book about God. I find the book of Enoch helpful also for me to understand who teaches us sins and why the earth is corrrupted of it and not know him because we are blinded by it. Through Jesus Christ especially his words teaches us to walk in righteousness because he is the way to God. Faith, patience, and obedience we need to follow him and trust his plans for us.

The book of Enoch gives us wisdom in how everything works. If I recall correctly Raphael showed him stars that were imprisoned for not following the Father's instructions and would be released after each served it's time. Hence New stars are being discovered. There was also extraterrestrials spoken of. I think it was given to us to explain somethings we don't understand. The giants are real as one was in Afghanistan, people had to sign ndas for it. My thoughts

Book of Enoch entails one prophecy so deep it no way this can be disguarded for thousands if not tens of thousands of years before it happened word for word. This book is great and should never underestimated for if that has happened and so are others too word for word all is considered as the truth and should be believed.
