Correct 2:142-2:150 is all about the qiblah being a place where you get spiritual guidance/worship. That what Muhammad was turning his face into he sky to, no where in 2:142-2:150 is salaah mentioned. The context is inbetweent be verses of 142-150 and that why it says that some of thepeoeple who hear the verses to god recited know this the truth but they conceal it. It's all about a place to listen and and absorb god guidance and verses. It's a spiritual turning your face to guidance and a physical location Masjid Al Haram to conduct the worship or delivery of guidance from god
