Most of the commentators don't listen. Go to @1:21. He specifically says this is about the time frame and not the number of times. He then says it's better to pray the 5 prayers alone and not combine. And this is the greatest problem with Muslims: they don't stop to listen in entirety and instead just react without comprehension. It's a shame this ummah behaves in this way.

the Surah 11 Hud, Ayat 114-114 reads, "And establish the Prayer at the two ends of the day and in the first hours of the night. Indeed the good deeds drive away the evil deeds. This is a Reminder to those who are mindful of Allah." This seems to refer to Salat al-fajr, Salat al-maghrib and Salat al-'isha. Surah 50 Qaf Ayat 39 goes, "Therefore, O Prophet (saws), bear with patience whatever they say, and keep up glorifying your Lord with his praise, before sunrise and before sunset. And glorify Him again in the night and also when are free from prostrations." This seems to refer to Salat al-fajr, Salat al-asr and Salat al-'isha. Surah 30 Rum Ayat 17-18 states, "So, glorify Allah in the evening and in the morning; all praise is for Him in the heavens and the earth- as well as in the afternoon and at noon." This seems to refer to Salat al-fajr, Salat al-zuhr, Salat al-asr and Salat al-magrib. Based on the information provided in the Quranic verses you mentioned, it is recommended to establish prayer at least five times a day, which are: Salat al-fajr (before sunrise) Salat al-zuhr (afternoon) Salat al-asr (late afternoon) Salat al-maghrib (Before sunset) Salat al-'isha (night) These prayers are mentioned in different Quranic verses and are considered as one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Quran mentions 3 prayers. Morning, mid day and night. Night prayer is referring to Thajjud. There is 6 prayers, they say night prayer or thajjud isn't fard because it's nafil as the prophet didn't want it to be a burden upon the ummah but it's clear cut in the Quran. The rest 5 are from hadith. You pray them seperate. You combine if travelling or it's important. Even if some day you got up late or whatever you can combine in general if it becomes difficult, but just don't make the combining of prayers a habit. Once a habit is formed you get lazy. I've been combining fo a while due to late sleep for zuhr and asr so I will break from it, only do when it's valid, Allah is All-Seer

How do we know that when he said the middle prayer he meant midday? I think what Allah meant by the middle prayer is the one between those two when we look at it from the verse طرفي النهار و زلفا من اليل. So there’s two prayers at the edge of daytime and another in between و (and) زلفا من اليل. And if we see how when he said the middle prayer he also said when people take off their clothes to rest, we can conclude that it means when they take off their clothes to rest at night since universally that’s what everyone does despite the meaning attributed to this is that people use to take a break at noon and take a nap. I’m not certain of this but I’m trying to understand.
