Thank you Qutaiba Bhai for giving this reality check. To summarize this video I would like to add three points. 1. Based on story you told us, it reminds me the story of my Punjabi landlords who came to California in 1980s. They made ton of money working overtime at factories because of that they never focused on kids tabiyat. Since their main source of learning was average government high school, they knew nothing about religious and islamic teachings. As as result, they ended up disobedient and disrespect to their own dad in front of us. The uncle has now many apartment complexes renting to new immigrants like us but he lost his kids in the process. 2. So, We take things for granted which are easily available in our country like Ristaidaria, Urdu and Islamic teachings. In overseas, my biggest worry after getting 25 and marry future Insh'Allah to teach my kids Urdu and Islamic teachings. I was privileged I learned religious and cultural values in Pakistan before coming to California at 18 but these kids won't which means I would have to make sure to take time out of work for my kids like what you have been doing now. 3. This leads to spending time with my family. After coming to US when I become financially independent, I stopped telling my parents what I am doing at college led to some serious depression. I realized after spending year in UC Berkeley. Then I made frequent visits to my family and take them in confident about my career and marriage decisions with them so communication is the key at the busy western life if you want to stay on track here. Sorry, I know thora lamba comment hogaya but I wanted to share my thoughts.

Bhai, you hit the bullseye. Thanks for sharing the story of those people and yes I have many similar cases here who have 10 15 7Eleven franchise and multiple properties but lost kids and even wife too. It's very important to give proper tarbiyat and tine to the family.

Such a thought provoking msg Qutaiba bhai.... I am really glad you shared it with your audience.... Regardless of the fact that there are many benefits moving abroad, but we should keep the disadvantages in our minds as well... And specially parents should prioritize the tarbiaa of their children first while settling the financial issues.... Or the mother can stay at home for her kids which I believe is the most important job than any other task, and the father can handle the earning part outside... Because at the end of the day what we want is true happiness of our kids... Thoughtful msg from you.... Really appreciated...❤

Very well said Qutaiba, thank you for sharing and may Allah give you Jaza-e-Khair for spreading such information. I am about to come to AU very soon IA, and I have this very concern about my children, for which I decided to move to SA after getting a passport. That's my plan, however Allah knows better. I loved the part where you said, you stopped everything and set your priorities EVEN BEFORE giving out the message to others.(I am very much interested to know what did you do specifically so that people may benefit from that as well, hoping to watch a video of a list of things which can be done to overcome such problems in future) May Allah take us and our children to the righteous path. Amen Suma Amen.

A very niche topic to talk about and I've seen no one talked about it. Yes it's a harsh reality that people get so blinded in earning money that they forget their family, moral values, Deen and so on. People don't set their goals and daikha daikhi they work like animals and in result when they've earned alot of money, houses, plots and cars they are left with no family, friends and people to talk. Moral of story would be two things. First set your priorities, goals and don't be hungry of money everytime. 2nd money could be many things but not everything. Peace out ✌️

My friends who are in a rat race for Australian PR, i just ask them "what after PR?" Then what? Refering to the purpose of life. And believe me they have no answer and the only coverup is that acha lifestyle mileaga, etc jo pakistan me nai mileaga. Getting a lifestyle upgrade doesnt justify the fact that what should be the purpose of life, truth is its still the lifestyle of animals (eat, sleep, making babies), you take a lion out of a jungle and feed him with imported meat tend to all his needs, thats a lifestyle upgrade but at the end of the day he is still in prison. I am not discouraging the fact that one should settle abroad, its just that we are somehow caught up in this trend like "pakistan se zinda bhaag" what the trend is doing is its programming the minds of young people and making them see problems in pakistan as 100× of what it actually is, thus they are just living life on autopilot mode without even questioning their motives and critically thinking and reflecting on what they want in life. People as young as 21 22 come to aus with red hot dreams, what they dont realise is that pathway to PR is not an easy one, by the time they get PR they are already 35, they are married and have children. It consumes 12 to 15 years of their life, those in a rat race must self reflect the fact that "is is really worth it? Because thats 10 -15 years of my youth, my peak" The struggle surely gonna take a toll, it will demand certain things from you, for ex. Your peak youth years, your precious family time, are you ready to risk it? Then its fine As far as i have assessed, aussies are smart. They have built such a system and a process where they completely twist your youth years and extract each and every bit of whats left in you, all these 12 to 15 years they extract your money, time, energy, effort and when your peak is over, they hand you with PR. I belong to the middle class family, and yes i have completed my studies from Australia, thats why i know what i said. Hardships are better than regrets, make wise decisions brothers

السلام وعلیکم ورحمة الله وبركاته Good message, people who do not know Sydney and Sydney Muslim community as well as funeral services in Sydney, they exactly know who to contact and what to do. With all due respect, it destroyed the crux of your message. Real experience will take you a long way. Saw you growing in Sydney and am glad to see a successful boy from Karachi. It always made me feel proud. This would have fit if you had chosen whoop whoop instead of Sydney in this video.
