I was thinking the same thing. I just imagine her watching QVC constantly and ordering all those lovely things, and talking on end to the operators like old friends, discussing all the amazing features on each item like they do on the show. Then the fun of opening the pkgs when they arrive and then never using the items. Even though I can't understand her reasons, I hope that it brought her joy to be able to buy all those lovely things.

I think someone looking at the situation may feel sad because their reasoning is different, and the way they feel happiness is different, but for her I think the rush from buying things was her happiness, not the using of the items bought. A lot of people get a dopamine hit from buying things, but then when they arrive, just toss them on the pile with the other things, as that part isn't as exciting. So I'm thinking she was very happy.

Keep on finding the good stuff. My mom got hooked on buying from QVC for several years. I received jewelry for my birthday and clothing for Christmas and more jewelry. Her last year with us, she gave me pearls.. Really good pearls!

Sometimes its people who are forced to be home, unable to shop/walk get around. The qvc people make them feel special like their friends, it can bring joy to lonely sick people, but it's sad too because alot dont get to use it.

I love these finds! I love my Algeria boots that I have for winter! They are shiny metallic ones! Love, Love Lug crossbody purses! As an older lady I find them more comfortable than the traditional purses!

I hit an estate auction like x that once. They were selling suff out of 6 Gaylord s. The person shopped. And on a special of the day. She bought one v of every color. Same w shoes. All new ,, still wrapped. They actually ran two auction rings at the same time . I could not fit all. So Made 2 trips. As above. 😊

I had a coworker who retired to a rural area and started ordering from QVC constantly. Had two kids, so ordered three of everything. Filled up her house to the despair of her family. I think she felt less lonely with the deliveries coming often. It's not something for people to be laughing about or celebrating.

This woman didn't seem too lonely she had a significant other and a very active life and spent a lot of time outdoors and traveling. So you just never really know what propels someone to buy so much. I was wondering how she found time to order so much, but she did.

Great haul! Kept me riveted to my iPad while I did my morning exercises. Did you say how much you paid for each of those shirts? Some of them are really cute! Same with some of the shoes. I was thinking though, that those Fourth of July shirts are too warm for July…at least July here on the east coast.

No, not weird about the shoes thing at all and I'm surprised that you would think that to be odd. Everyone knows that sometimes the shoes don't come in half sizes or women who wear six and a half who really want to wear shoes. Sometimes I have to revert to wearing a 7 because a lot of them don't come that small. And all the fluctuation with different brands of shoes can be a whole-size different.

As far as shoes a 1/2 size isn't unusual depending on type of shoe and once she knew she knew Also ,typically,(maybe yours didn't) a woman grows an entire shoe size when pregnant and sometimes it never goes back !!!! I was a size 7 1/2 shoe my entire life until I became pregnant and grew to a size 8 ! 33 years later I am still an 8 1/2.

Funny you should mention Velcro, I was thinking about it this morning. I've seen quite a few listings lately with Velcro in the body of the listing; I always use 'hook & loop', I'm not chancing it. That lady must have lived in a warehouse! So much good 'stuff'. I thought my Mother was bad - if she liked something she bought multiples, e.g. six tops, same syle, all in white. It's a good job that they don't have QVC in New Zealand! This lot will keep you busy for a while, stay well and I hope you make a motza!😁🦘🦘🦘
