I have a issue with mines. I had for years first time using it today , I put it in the microwave and the spout keeps popping out and explode juices all over the microwave

It is the pressure. Maybe food and liquid are over the line? Learn to put the lid on properly.

I don't see how you can control the pressure using a microwave. My stove top Duromatic works just fine. You do have to adjust the flame to get the pressure just right but once you got that down (smallest nub, low flame) it's a matter of keeping an eye on the pressure and fine tuning the flame. If that's too much of a bother, get one of those electric counter top pressure cookers. They are so automated that you don't have to keep an eye on them while cooking like the stove top PCs.
