Kind of wondering what the supposed advantage of a "swayback" handle is? Just by looking, it seems a bit awkward, but I don't know....

I guess it's "different" - but it's comfortable in paring cuts

Swayback let's you put a lot of force on your slice while cutting on a board, because it changes the relative angle of the blade as it comes out of your hand. It's an advantage of geometry. There is a reason so many old knives had that shape.

Thanks for bringing this up. I always like traditional designs in modern stainless steels, especially for that price and from a knife maker like Jacob Lundquist.

As soon as you said it came in blue, I knew I had to get one. I don’t know what it is about this knife, but the more I look at it the more I like it. I don’t want to wish away the summer, but I’m excited for November now lol

I backed it. The design called out to me immediately. It's clearly going to be a good food task knife with that handle profile and I prefer a hole to a flipper, also because the tab ruins use on a cutting board. Also it's available in a bright color. Nice.

I’m excited for this I really like the design (and I like that he’s from my state) and so its cool to be able to check out the design. Who knows if I like it a lot I may try for the custom
