I was told never to use a screwdriver or pry between the case and cover. You mention that it might damage the gasket, but what about damaging the metal? Any markings could cause the new gasket to leak oil, I would think.

They are never that tight that large in bents are caused. Gently and watch what you are applying pressure on.

Do you think bad or broken balance shaft in gx390 will cause some sort of vibrations on the engine itself, pressure pump, and pressure hoses in pressure washer?

I have removed the casing but struggling to put it back in place. It feel like something is preventing it from falling back in place even though the bolt holes are aligned perfectly. Any thoughts?

I noticed this too, but it was just a gear that wasn't lining up. If you move the crankshaft by hand you should be able to find a spot where it meshes and then the cover will go back all the way.

hey I have a quick question, I removed the flywheel from shaft because I thought it was broken, however upon inspection I found out that isnt the case, but the reason I removed was because the shaft wont go past 180 degrees feels like something is preventing it from turning, any idea what this could be? T.I.A

I had the same problem the shaft has a bent arm on it which will he hitting the other. Before putting it together make sure it’s seated correctly and that you can turn it by hand freely before putting the case back on

Mind Fuel I openned the engine and found the piston head had broken and was preventing the engine from turning
