i did Google it, the last post about it was about 3 years. if they were going to make a movie then the idea was scrapped. it was originally supposed to be done by Paul W.S. Anderson the director of the Resident Evil films but was then taken over by Frank Ward. I would like to see a Castlevania movie just as much as some of the other fans but i doubt this game will ever make the jump to the big screen. It saddens me too, it has such a great storyline.

@alxxz its one of the most recuring soundtracks in the series, Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, The Begginning and Simons Theme are some of the recuring themes. The former 2 are the most recuring of the four. 90% will have either both or just one. And 50% of them will have Bloody Tears

***** Not really. The background part is original, but the added (WHY) swing bit on the "ride cymbal" (1 1-2-3 1-2-3 1-2-3 etc) in that whole sequence was just....awkward and out of place. It wasn't even fitting in a progressive rock sense. This isn't a lounge singer track, so why have the added swing meter at all? Just gross. Been playing Castlevania games on many systems since the 90's, I know what Bloody Tears is supposed to sound like. heh Also, I'm not knocking this for being unlike the original so much as for *that one part that ruins everything*. Seriously: that part sticks out and ruins the whole feeling of the part before it. Not knocking the music other than that part; it's just upsetting I guess. Like when you see a great band that plays great music, and then the singer starts singing and it's like nails on chalk board...it's a shame that an otherwise solid tune is somehow ruined by one part of it! If that one part was different (different drum track), errbody would still love it, and it wouldn't suck to anyone who knows music and Castlevania.
