Nah, you're good. I understand where you're coming from, I'm a huge fan of the series too, but I know a lot of people who aren't, and that used to frustrate me a bit, but everyone has their own opinion, and I accepted it. On the subject of the newer games, I do sort of enjoy FF12, but the classics are where it's at. To this day, FF4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

@GamesOplenty No, that's not Genesis, it might be a spoiler but if you want to know there's no helping it, in Dirge of Cerberus, after fulfilling a certain condition, you unlock a special ending in which you can clearly see that Genesis went and picked up Weiss. I also think that he was involved in the events in-game since your allies would mention "client G." (if my memory serves me right) as the character who would assist them in their operations, at least that's what I could figure out.

My intension with my comment was that you even if you're a new age games should respect the classics. And I totally agree with you there are bad FF games. The instruments are nearly the same, but there are some small differences between (the first two minutes of) this version and the Black Mages version. This version uses instruments more closely with the original in-game version, and it shows in some places. (Of course, if you'd gone past 2:00 I wouldn't have to tell you this.)
