I gotta thank StayAtHomeDev for featuring this in a video. Pretty cool concept. I'll add it to my wishlist as I love the different lightning effects you've provided. I feel it will make writing feel very cozy, exactly how I like it.

Great to hear, that's amazing! I have about a month of planned development left, and still making progress, so I appreciate the support!

Wishlisted! Using a regular word processor kills my inspiration, because I associate them with studying and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing. Looking forward to trying this out. I just hope this has different fonts in the future, because I have a hard time reading certain Serif fonts for long periods of time (my vision isn't great).

Thank you so much! Yes, I already have the functionality for font-switching and will have it preloaded with a list of open-source fonts, and *hopefully* I will have the ability for people to utilize the font files on their machine, or add new ones, but that may not be available right at release. You are guaranteed to have options though!

I want it I want it I want it. I want it nowwww! Oh my deity. I NEED this. Wishlisted. This is such a genius idea. When I type in google docs.. well it's not that comfortable. It feels like I'm writing an essay lmao, and that kinda kills my motivation. Especially when KZbin is one tab away haha (usually for music... but the fact it's right there... it distracts you from the back of your mind whether you realize it or not). I feel that this would totally immerse me and combat the different distractions. Perhaps I participate in NaNoWriMo this year. Or at least my own version of it, I don't think it's possible for me to do 50k words in a month (or rather, I think it's impossible for me to write a novel in 50k words, how do people pace their stories so well?!?!?! Maybe my ideas are too large?). In all of my attempts at writing, I could never get past the beginning of the plot because the scale of the story/world would grow out of control in my mind and intimidate me. I'd simply feel that I couldn't do the story justice, or I wanted to write the story perfectly (plot-wise) the first time around... and with how complicated and complex they would grow in my mind (more and more ideas/details popping in that I can't keep track of).. It's obviously not realistic and makes it harder to write... Maybe I just say screw it and take my character, write a small-scale story, not care if some things make sense, or if sentences aren't written in the best way. Gonna be hard, but I really want to do it. It's one of my life goals to make one complete novel, revised and everything. Not even to be published, I just.. want to write a good story because I enjoy good reads. If you don't mind disclosing it, do you have an idea on the price? Also, since it wasn't shown in the video, I'm curious. Is there a page turning animation? For example, if you write a full page and keep writing, will it automatically flip to the next page (with a page flipping animation) so you can continue writing? Just a neat thought I had. Keep up the great work! This is honestly a wonderful idea, and I didn't think something like this could be made in Godot- it never crossed my mind.
