Thanks for checking it out! Okay, I like the RAD ONE better, but I actually think for your context the Nano X4 will deliver better and feel less heavy for boxing workouts. I'd start with the Nano and see if you can find some sweet deals on them!

Thank you! I can try to get one in the works. I’m diving more into running shoes now and it’s been fun exploring this vertical. The only issue I’m running into is running volume - so I can likely get this up in the next month or so and suggest some options!

hey jake. yours is the go-to review channel for training shoes i go for. Ty so much. I bought the RAD ones (Stormy Gum). I like the built, construction, stability very much but my right foot pinky toe feels a slight discomfort. A stubbing and minute pain. Is it something I got to be worried about and return it or it will be fine after breaking in? I am also considering nano x4 I train 5-6 times a week with a short cardio session at the end like a 20 min run, skipping, rowing, elliptical, etc Please share your thoughts

Thank you! If it's unbearable and it's a true width issue even in thinner socks then I'd return it and go up a half-size or opt for something with a wider toe box. If it's only somewhat noticeable then that should break-in over time. Good to know that they run a little narrow on you, though

Similar, but I'd say the RAD model has a slight edge. I've deadlifted over 500 in both shoes with stability and didn't have too many issues, so they're wicked comparable for most athletes/lifters, IMO!

Nope, I’d go TTS or even up a half size if you have wider feet. These can run a little snug in the toe box

I have an old Air Max 90 pair and the rad one fits exactly the same as those. So stick to your Nike size if you like it

How do these compare to the haze trainer from Strike MVMNT?

Great question. I thoroughly enjoy both, so it's tough to say there's a clear winner at the moment. This model gives you a bit more in regard to rope climbing support, but the Haze's outsole beats this shoe with maneuverability!

Hi - so these shoes will be finally dropping in the UK on a Monday and I cannot wait! However, suddenly I am finding myself not being sure about what size to order... Did you go half size up as they recommend it? And did you used to do that with the metcons? I have never gone half size up on any shoes, besides the Romaleos 4s. Thanks for your help :)

Ay! That’s awesome. I did not size up, nor do I size up in my Metcons. However, I’d rather shoes feel a tad snug than too loose. Might be worth reaching out to RAD just to confirm before you order!

Not to the same degree and I haven’t noticed it, as in it doesn’t roll fully to the side - I could have also tightened them more to prevent that. A tongue loop would be nice, but I don’t think this will be an issue for most folks. Did you see I tweaked that section per your recommendation?

I missed out on the first drop of these shoes but two more colours seem to be dropping at some point (slate grey and sand) so can't wait to get the grey ones! I always had metcons but I could not get on with the 7s as I my feet are pretty narrow. High hopes for R.A.D. shoes :D

I saw that and am super stoked for more colorways! I think you'll enjoy this model if you're a Nike Metcon fan, the Metcon 4 is one of my all-time fave shoes, so if you're similar - methinks you'll like the R.A.D ONE. That being said, would love to hear your thoughts once your pair comes in!

Feel thicker with more midsole, but solid for lifting for both. Imo, more forgiving for HIIT/sessions with plyos.
