Jaehyun ate and left no crumbs. This was everything and more, being proud in an understatement. Like you said, it is so HIM, its written in every nook and cranny of the song and the video I love it so much 😭 I am so happy he got to show us something of his and I can not wait for anything else has for us in the future. Now I want an album with this sound 😭 Can't wait for the NCT Music Lab episode and for the potential Recording Behind the Scenes cause there was one for Child and Rain Day, I need to hear them high notes in their studio version. As for my favourite part it has to be the 2nd verse - it just hits so hard, especially the "One touch and it fades away, so close I feel you but never have you" lines, like the runs on this had me WEAK AND ON MY KNEES. 😩 I am such a sucker for his voice, I have always preferred voices like his and Baekhyun's cause they are not typically high when they sing, they are on the lower side but when they hit them high notes and the air is being knocked out of your lungs, ya know? I just - Jaehyun has always been my weakness, his whole aura feels like a home to me, he is just so peaceful to look at and ugh i love him so much.❤ If I ever have to choose my top 3 (male) vocals in kpop it has to go Baekhyun -> Jaehyun -> Chenle (I'm just weak for his voice, okay? it may not be low but it touches my soul) they just hit different 😩 P.S. Whoever broke his heart FIGHT ME. Anyways, he deserves the best so there's that.
