Dude, if you like PWD, you have to check out Breakdown of Sanity. They are my second favorite band behind PWD now. No shit, they bring some heaviest breakdowns ever created and some solid Guitar solos. Check out Chapters - Your neck is going to be killing you by the end Infest - It has a solo at the beginning(wtf???) of the song that is the work of God himself. The Writer - Smoother than smooth Thanks in advanced guys. Keep up the good work

Just because someone dresses nice doesn't mean they look like a boy band, sorry they don't have their pants down to their ankles like your used to seeing.
@MusicOdyssey1

DR4LUC0N My judgment of them is based off of their attire I am not attacking them as individual people. It’s not every day that you see screamo rock bands dressed up like pop boy groups.That being said I see nothing wrong with how they are dressed I just wasn’t expecting it sorry you took offense. While yes I am aware of what sagging is, I don’t approve of it. If you must know I don’t associate with people that choose to have their pants down to their ankles I live in the suburbs so no I’m not used to seeing that on a daily basis Thank you for tuning in -R

Wow, keep digging your hole deeper, dressing nice isn't a genre, there's no music type associated with dressing like a normal human being. Screamo rock bands? Screamo is one of two things, Calvary Kids(litterally screaming) or Black Veil Brides(emo metal music). Learn that not everything needs a label, show respect. How'd you like it if someone took one of the bands you listen to and be like "he dresses like a whore on a corner" just because they dressed in their own fashion? You're a growing channel(and I hope you the best) but understand, you can't just say stuff that might offend people, think of other words you can use that don't put a label on something. The last thing you want to do with your channel is offend people.

Lol let me step in here and add a little clarity. First off I think my brother was more remarking on the fact that if he heard the music without seeing their photo he would never guessed that is what they looked link... Like it or not metal has stereotypical expectations - just like how you brought up sagging to my brother. Secondly... Give my brother a little bit of a break... As I mentioned in this video I've been listening to metal most of my life and I can't (and have no desire to) track the multitude of sub genres. To him that word really just references any band who screams - I could of corrected him but I didn't feel it was worth the time. To your point though, we are definetly working on watching our words. Thanks for watching - V
@L4M3573R
@L4M3573R 6 жыл бұрын
Maybe you should have a chat with him, most bands in metal don't wear make up like Marilyn Manson or wear masks like Slipknot. What stereotypes does metal have? Metal doesn't have stereotypes, they dress like your every day human that works for a living, unless your Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, most of black metal and a couple of others, how do you think they should dress? Like Gwar? You seem to know more about metal, but you should correct people when they're wrong, that's how you educate people. When I look up a video reaction(like I did here) I'm always excited about what other people have to say about the lyrics or what makes them say "wow this part is badass". But nothing was covered, just that they dress like a normal human(I mean boy band, sorry) and how they hardly have shows in the US, yet they're on tour right now and they were in the US 2 months ago. Your viewers are the ones that will either make or break your channel, do research with him first so he can understand more about our culture. It seems like this channel is just for youtube revenue then actually reviewing anything. Is there a story behind him all of a sudden listening to metal? What got him started? Is he doing it just to get money? Because this is how it seems. Watch a few other channels like Alex Hefner or Truant MYHFC and see what they do in their videos that "grabs the viewers" and shows even a little bit of knowledge about the genre. Anyone can spit out a video daily and try and make money, but the ones who do good are the ones that put effort into it.

DR4LUC0N If all you heard was me bashing their look then you didn’t pay attention to the video. The beginning of our reaction right after the track got done playing I actually gave props to lead vocalist for his vocal ability. I also gave props to the band for their sound. Everything that they did as a group was completely different from what I’m used to hearing out of rock or metal but in a good way. This is something that my brother and I chose to start because it’s something that we’ve been doing from childhood all the way up till now. When we get together we share our different likes of music and we talk about it. I am well aware that the rock ‘n’ roll culture is more than just face painting I don’t see the rock and metal culture as something that’s just dark and grim. As a matter of fact a great deal of rock and metal fashion from its beginning all the way up till now has transitioned into other cultures of music. Aside from the attire one of the biggest reasons why am such a huge fan culture is there acceptance of people. In hip-hop culture you have Tech N9ne who uses face paint and dyes his hair red went on stage. You also have insane clown posse this group uses face paint as well as dresses up like clowns. In the hip-hop culture this some what out of the ordinary (some what) But what’s out of the ordinary also sets them apart. What’s out of the ordinary in any genre of music what’s out of the ordinary in life in general sometimes sets you apart in the greatest way. Again I assure you I was not meaning to be negative judgmental or demeaning towards this band in fact as I said at the end of the track beginning of the reaction I like their differences the difference in sound from what I’m used to hearing the difference in production from what I’m used to hearing and it also shocked me that they look like they were a boy band. (It was unexpected) They even prove to me that looks can be deceiving. Overall I enjoyed the song and the band. At the end of the day it’s my personal opinion and I ain’t shit so what I say shouldn’t really matter to you. Reaction videos aren’t always going to be positive there will come a time I hear a song that my brother plays for me and will think it’s complete trash and that has happened more than once in life it has yet to happen behind the camera. I invite you to continue watching and continue giving us feedback because at the end of the day that’s why we make the videos. Just like we react to one another sometime we have disagreements. It’s a pleasure to have you and others give your insight towards music that either or is hearing for the first time. I do apologize again for offending but that’s going to happen like you I’m only human and you can’t please everybody in life with your input, opinions, or actions.-R

#FcukLabels :) As far as this track goes, for me this is another deep sigh.... so much technical proficiency on guitar, bass, & drums, which unfortunately I'll never listen to again, because of the growly nonsense in place of singing. Maybe I'm just too old to appreciate it, but that also means this band is never going to see any of my old money buying their stuff. I realise finding someone who's capable of writing & performing a melodic vocal line over music this dense is needle-in-a-haystack, but if you don't have that option, don't just cop out & have somebody growl incoherently over it. #Controversial LOL Can't wait for the hatred to stream in on this comment! :)

😂 No hate (at least from us). It's definitely an aggressive form if music... Kind of like a strong whiskey it's an acquired taste... But you have to want to aquire the taste in the first place, either by being an aggressive person, or in an aggressive situation (like working out, military, etc)... this also kind of comes back to our conversation on NF's Track and how it can be problematic constantly feeding negativity into your psyche. Point being - its definitely not the style of music/vocals that's going to appeal to the masses, no matter how great the actual musicianship is. As for me, I love that aggressive vocal style on top of that instrumental! - V
@badm0t0rf1nger
@badm0t0rf1nger 6 жыл бұрын
It's a solid point that you make, in that the aggression in the vocal delivery definitely matches that of the instrumentation. For me personally tho (and this may come from formative years listening to singers who sing, & sing well), I really enjoy this kind of slamming instrumentation, but get frustrated that there are so many bands out there I just can't listen to as soon as whatever version of unintelligible screaming / growling vocal kicks in. LOL
@joewax7982
@joewax7982 6 жыл бұрын
I highly disagree. I don't understand why people think screaming or growling is a 'cop out' or doesn't take talent. Have you tried it?? It's very difficult, and people who do it well take years to perfect it. Don't hate just because it's not to your taste, you wouldn't hear a fan of screaming say people who sing over technical instrumentals are copping out.

Badm050rf1nger Sorry bud, but the sheer amount of talent it takes to exert those growls is something many musicians simply cannot do. The complexity of the vocals match the complexity of the instrumentation in this instance. There is balance.
@badm0t0rf1nger
@badm0t0rf1nger 6 жыл бұрын
Sorry bud, but the point of a human voice in music is to be an instrument, not percussion. And preferably audible enough to tell a story while we're at it. I didn't say growling (without self-injuring) isn't a skill.... it's just a skill I don't value in music.
