I'm Japanese who now lives in Canada for 30 years now so I know I'm old (LOL) and have adopted more of the western culture so listening to you both is quite interesting and a bit funny. Oh yes, I HATE with passion those paperworks AND HANKO!!! I don't know Ari said it actually works but I don't get it. It never worked for me and never will, well, I don't need them anymore since I'm living in Canada now but I hated the fact that I had to have so many different Hankos for different institutions and purposes and if you couldn't find the right one for it, it was really a pain in the butt!! Also even if you had right Hanko with you but didn't have the ink pad for Hanko, you will have to either look for it everywhere, borrow it from someone or buy a new one!! Ugh!!!! I love and miss those convenience stores in Japan of sure!! Well, not only convenience stores but almost all stores, cafes, shops of any kinds and restaurants!!! SO many choices and great quality! I haven't gone back to Japan since year 2005 so it's been already 20 years now. I know I will need to update my memory and experience files soon!! And I want to experience that "reverse culture shock" when I go back(visit) Japan in the future. Can't wait!!
Thank you for always showing us such fun videos. I guess Japan is different from the perspective of Westerners. It's fun to learn about those differences.
