Hi Frances. I have started to learn English in Japan, but first was told me not to be shy. When I was learning in a language school in London, and my classmates were vibrant multinational. so I realized that shyness is loss. I would like to keep making efforts to not forget English. Thank you for your good opinion.
This is not what you don't wont to say but,
Long time no see Frances! I've been looking forward to it !

I’m a 4th gen Japanese American and none of my JA friends are shy with women. They’re very opinionated too. The difference with JA and white or black dudes is when a JA speaks, he means it. Others not so much. As for Nihonjin guys, I know many who are very personable and not shy at all. I actually think shy is the wrong term. They have opinions and passion but either don’t want to be misunderstood or impose on someone. It’s not only cultural but a communication issue.
I watched Ashiya's interview too. Japanese and American are very different from their culture. Each has good and bad things in many ways. Good Luck :)

I'm a Japanese man. I'm a farmer, growing eggplant and bamboo shoot. I think you are very charming. Your English is easy to hear for normal Japanese. I'm looking forward to watching your you tube.

Currently, the population of American men in their 20s and 30s is about 30 million, while the population of Japanese men in the same age group is about 12 million. However, what feels off about your opinion is the part where you lump all Japanese men together. Not all men think the same way, live the same way, or look the same, so it comes across as if any Japanese man will do.

Dear Francis I really enjoyed this video. I am a Japanese man living in the USA. I lived in four different countries and four different states due to my parents job and I loved the American college life … I ended up living in the states with a big career. (now I consider this a huge mistake in my life..) First, it is so interesting that I can tell you are from Midwest (? St. Louis). In Florida where I did part of my college, it was very common for men to pay attention to fashion. For example, hair removal, wearing thong underwear to make their butt look sexy, or some men went to get pedicure on a regular basis. So not all Americans are like midwesterners but where I live now (Milwaukee / Chicago area), manhood is completely different how you described. Body order, interesting point. Deodorant is sold everywhere in the USA and it is very odd to American women that I don’t use them at all nor I need to. But this goes the same for American Caucasian women, they definitely need to wear them daily LOL. One thing that I kinda want you to know is that about Japanese culture of KOKUHAKU. In Japan, it seems men kinda wait for women to approach them; it is complete opposite in the USA and it is completely ok for you to approach men in Japan…. Next time you see a cute guy, hit him up!!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's kinda true
Oh! Excited to find out that you love Japanese guys despite being so beautiful! If I don't improve my awkward English quickly, others will steal you away!
