It takes enormous courage to take on the strong in defense of the weak, it takes sheer ignorance and shamelessness to spit BS as you do

Boss moment in history. Honestly this particular instance will live in infamy for good measure. Matsuoka was decisive and expressed his national interest in fervor, brilliant speech and mannerism.

Agree. But what happened was an abuse of his own country and culture, eradicating so much value, life and beauty in Japan and in whole Asia.

Mr. Mtasuoka is regarded as a villain today because Imperial Japan was defeated in World War II. But what if Japan won a war, he would be regarded as a great stateman like Winston Churchill while Truman would be humiliated as a Class A war criminal. History is always written by victors, and justice is always in the hollow of victor`s hand.

@@MrEjidorie If Japan and Germany win the war, the world will be flooded with genocide and destroyed by the nuclear war, I am fortunate that fascism has been defeated

@@ingdjr5573 The collapse of Japan was also beneficial to Japanese people though about 3,1 million Japanese lost their lives, and my grandmother was one of them. After World War II, Japan introduced democracy, universal suffrage, land reform, market economy etc. almost everything from the United States except English and Christianity. Today, Japan has the third largest economy, peace-loving democratic nation, and US staunch ally. But only less than 1% of Japanese citizens are Christians.
