There was a test piece of paper in the stamp packet, right? That's the correct direction for the stamp. We also write marks on the stamp.

@EverydaywithKris In old Japanese business practices, a stamp had placed after the own name as proof of their intention. and this practices still remain in japan. Therefore, the seal used on important documents must be original one . Seals can be registered at the city hall. In Japan, important contracts require a seal certificate issued by the city hall.
