Bass is also played live, if you look at his guitar, top two strings are bass strings. Very clever! He was actually also Grammy nominated for best R&B album in 2015.

Everything is done live and thats what makes it so impressive. You need to have so much control of what you do to not make any mistakes. He has full control every time. His voice is amazing too and he has more soul than most (I think he is better than John Legend). His voice remind a bit of Lenny Kravitz. He decided to do this style because he couldnt afford to travel around with a whole band, so he created a one-man-band. He is so amazing and has so much groove and soul!! He was actually nominated for best R’n’B album at the American Grammies some years ago.. He is very versatile. Try his songs «Come around» , «Falter» or «Clearly confused» which is a bit different.

Yeah I like Lenny but find Legend very boring. Modern soul/RnB is not for me as a whole. Thanks for the tips.

It was pretty good. Kevin Olusola from Pentatonix does the same thing, layering his singing, beat-boxing and cello playing, and he sounds great, like in his original song "Down".

Before this he was a member of a band named SPAN which was a straight forward rock group. Made some great songs. Sadly didn't push outside Norway and split a few years later. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6DUd4aka9egmKc Great song by them.

@@dannytheswedishmusixian1513 the band SPAN, certainly not R n B. They were pure rock :-) They should have been much bigger, but didn't get the right exposure
