Mediocre people with no passion or love for creativity, never heard before melodies,, off beat rhythm, new instruments and their uses, singing with cracked voice, could hardly understand and appreciate his class and craftsmanship in those days and give him awards. That's exactly what happened. It is unbelievable that he had no Filmfare to his credit in seventies when actually he ruled the fim music with his timeless and wonderful creations.But time has proved his Genius and his creations became immortal
