Great video! I was about to buy this here in India where its overpriced, Rode really is doing a lot of false marketing nowadays, Thanks I saved my money

You're welcome. It is a beautiful stand but doesn't do what it's advertised to do and function as an arm without tipping over.

Not good for XLR Mics due to cable threading holes being suitable for USB mics only. Tipping is a MAJOR flaw! Misleading campaign on RODEs part and I wouldn’t recommend for professional use. Thank you for your honest and punctual review. Other reviews totally miss the mark in truthful specs. You have gained credibility and I will subscribe. .

Thank you! I hadn't thought about XLR cables when I did the review, great point. I was really disappointed with the tipping. Your support is very much appreciated!

@@QuantumMango - Hello again, a retraction on my part is in order. I went ahead and bought the DS2 and found it to be suitable with my home studio set up and my Shure sm7b. Yes it's a bit uneasy but in fairness it does suit me well. Im writing this because I believe that honesty is the best policy. I am not endorsing it for everyone because people will have different needs but to contradict my original post I believe that this new assessment is in good order. Thanks again for your reviews. Best!

What travel case would you use for the DS2 Stand and PodMic?

It's not something I'd plan to travel with because it weighs over 3 lbs. I'd probably wrap it up in a small towel and put it in a shopping bag or something similar.
