Thoughts? I see everyone saying you should set the Windows settings on the mic to 53-54%, which will be 0.0db (unity) for the Rodecaster. Then you can adjust the gain on the Rodecaster higher and it won’t be as noisy.

I've sturggling to get the settings right with this device to fit my voice. Do you have other videos going over how to test and setup the other settings like compressor & de-esser. I have a lot of sibilance

Good breakdown as usual Mr. Meister. If the baby RODE was available before I bought the Pro II this is the way I would have went as I only need 2 mic inputs. Oh well, it is what it is. 😎

Thank you for being the only to confirm that is can take 4 mics. I love the firmware update suggestion for the headphones, as you say, they have it on the video version. I’m buying one to do the nth100-m and the 2 wireless go 2’s. Then when it’s possible, I’ll add a usb boom mic to pick up action on the sports field, either to broadcast or just hear in my headset for better commentary

I think the numbers are upside down in case it is sitting on your desk and you lean over it to plug something it, it would then be right side up??

Let me put it this way: compared to the RCP2, the ports are turned by 180 degrees. :)

What does pressing and holding the green rotary dial do? I see the icon changing to a ❌ but I don’t see anything else changing.

In most cases holding the rotary dial mutes the stereo monitor outputs. If you have a bluetooth device connected it will mute that instead.

Just sent my Røde Streamer X back after waiting for several months for updates that could make the video part stable and usable on Apple Silicon. Got tired of Røde's excuses and poor support. Now I want to repurchase an Elgato Cam Link 4K, but have doubts about the audio interface. Must be primarily used for talking heads / podcast and must be able to drive an SM7B without cloudlifter, work without problems with Apple Silicon and must be able to receive telephone calls. What would you suggest? Thanks for a great channel.

Mu issues is the investment. I got the RCP 2 when it first released. I dont want to invest in a new mixer right now.

Frankly, you also don‘t really need the Duo if you already have the Pro II.

Don't buy! The mixer sounds good and all but when you start using the sound effects on track or even in Discord my friends say that the sounds don't even work sometimes they come through but cuts out and sounds horrible. I've tried everything, I can hear the sound effects sound perfect from my end but when I'm doing it and trying to push the sound bars it just sounds horrible to everybody else interface is horrible inputs Etc😢
