Those europeans could possibly have been absolute assholes, chances are they probably were, and im not trying to defend them, but i just wanna give a bit of context on tipping culture here, atleast in germany: here we don't usually tip, because its not actually necessary, as servers here are paid an actual wage, atleast from my understanding. Again, these guys were probably just assholes, but some europeans simply don't know anything about the fact that servers in america are almost entirely reliant on tipping to earn money. Two cool things about the pyramids. Apparently, between five and one thousand years ago, there was a tributary of the Nile that flowed right next to the pyramid sites. This was discovered via ground-penetrating satellites. The Egyptians apparently used this for two main purposes: 1) when they were determining the base of the pyramid, to make it level they dug out a basin and flooded it. Water, being water, formed a level surface inside the basin and they marked it to establish a nearly perfectly level base for the larger pyramid. 2) they used this nearby Nile tributary to bring those big rocks they used much, much closer to the construction site than previously thought, making their job much faster.

Tipping should never be mandatory - tips should be a small reward for servers going above and beyond to offer the best service to their customers, not an expectation because bosses are too bloody cheap to actually pay their employees a decent wage. Where you are forced to do work for free, and can actually be leased out like an object to a company to perform manual labor. A good portion of Californians believe that since jail is a punishment than Force the labor is a part of that punishment, what is cap. A lot of people in jail or just thrown in jail for a small crime or trumped-up charges, and some police officers are encouraged to arrest a certain quote of of criminals. There's a lot of data and among history that shows that the prison industry has become a light repackage version of slavery. So that's why they call it anti-slavery because analog cases that's basically exactly what it is.

Weed is decriminalized, and would ya know, most drug “convictions” are actually a long stent in a medical facility where they teach you to become a proper member of society and help you sustain yourself. It isn't a diss, literally every energy source will release greenhouse gasses being made. Is nuclear power good? Absolutely, I think if we put more into it we can build plants even safer, cheaper and more efficient than they are now. But you cannot deny the fact that the materials used to build the plant will release a fuck ton of CO2, still over time it'll release way less greenhouse gasses than any other power source.

Florida insurance companies dont offer hurricane or flood insurance a lot of the time and if they do its at stupidly high rates so the person that didnt get insurance for flooding isnt necessarily in the wrong but insurance companies are which is usually the case
