Parimal Kanji pedalled along the periphery of India in less than eight months, completed his tour of above 15,000 kilometres. Parimal Kanji also know as ‘Cycle Man of India’ is a 55-year-old man from Kolkata, India. He is famous for his decision to travel across India by cycle. He left his family and home in January to travel across India on his cycle. At the time of starting this journey, he has only 2100 rupees in his pocket. But he didn’t stop and started his journey and till now he has completed more than 80% of his journey.
Parimal Kanji initially started his journey from his home town Kolkata then he visited Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Ladakh, Himachal, and Uttarakhand. He will also travel to Nepal, Sikkim, via North East, back to Kolkata to complete his India journey. And has completed 80% of its journey till Himachal
Parimal Kanji is an example for those people who didn’t get a chance to travel due to lack of money. He just started his journey and people helped him in his way to complete this journey. Many KZbinrs and bloggers also helped him by sharing his story with images and videos on her KZbin channels and blogs.
