Hi Sunny, my baby is 4 months old (adjusted age 3 months), she has an established bedtime routine; 7pm to 7.30pm everyday we feed her, changed her, bring her to the room and carry and rock her while singing some lullabies before putting her in the cot. She will self soothe for a while by sucking her hands and then fall asleep. However daytime naps are a challenge as every nap has to be a contact nap. Every time we put her down to the cot, she cries. Or if we put her down when she is asleep, she will wake up after 10 mins. We stopped swaddling as she is trying to flip. White noise machine doesn’t really work and we have not introduce a pacifier to her. Could you give us some advice please? Will the reliance of contact nap go away? She’s starting daycare soon and I’m worried that she can’t nap at daycare. Thanks
