Rohan Kapoor quoted three points which Rafisaab told Mahendra ji to follow strictly in life. Exactly these points were referred by Mahendra Kapoor ji during his interview . Rohan Kapoor missed one point to tell and that was very important. Mahendra ji was assured by Rafisaab that if he could secure first position in that competition, he would get a chance to make his first air trip under Rafisaab's courtesy . As a result, after Mahendraji stood first , Rafisaab took him to Kolkata by air to attend a function in which Rafisaab was to sing. My sincere regards to both of the stalwarts.

Mahender Kapoor sahab ki voice ki range sabse ooper thi, ek time to aisa aayaa ki Mahender Kapoor sahab aage nikal gaye thhe, Rafi sahab peechhe chhute nazar aaye. Lekin aage chalkar Rafi sahab ne dobaara apni no. 1ki position ko haasil kiyaa aur uss position par 1968 tak atal rahe, 1969 se Kishore Kumar sahab kaa daur start ho gayaa. Lekin phir bhi Rafi sahab 1980 tak gaate rahe, unke gaane super hit rahe. 👍

if Rohan Kapoor went along with his father on concert trips, then why did none of Mohd Rafi sons accompany him? Plus why some of his children already in UK USA leading posh lives, did none of them video'ed or recorded any of his live performances there !! I bet they have lots of vcr tapes about their weddings children growing up and luxury trips to India Bahamas and other exotic places. But then for them maybe Rafi Sahab was only a singer in India nothing to be proud of (as a profession ) in front of their gora friends
