I personally get the frustration but am not in agreement with offing another. As someone who worked for a very large global health insurance carrier myself, there are so many underlying factors that tie into claim denials that everyday people lack understanding of. It’s such a tragic loss for both sides. 😢😮 9:42 thankfully after my hysterectomy in 2009, I had no major issues. 11:59 I too take Miralax daily since about April of this year prescribed by my GI Dr. 14:10 so basically they needed Medical Necessity Review. 14:25 I take Gabapentin as well. Mine was prescribed to help me sleep 15:42 typically the insurance company does not reach out to the provider. They usually will send a hard document as a form of outreach or the pharmacy will make contact with the provider. 17:57 it’s usually the lack of effective streamlined processes 19:04 definitely not a Debbie Downer conversation. Very realistic and authentic ❤ 20:03 Where did you watch it. I didn’t hear anything about it 24:07 I lovvvve a good store run 😂 I like to see more stuff than not enough. @@allthingskaramel I can totally understand the Healthcare industry and maybe not being educated on the process and also definitely don’t agree with taking those matters into your own hands. Today my doctor’s said they will reach out so I am hoping we can get this resolved soon. I didn’t know about Gabapentin for sleep! I pray you NEVER have issues with your hysterectomy because girl I was scared for my life!!!! Thank you Shawn, for the kind words always!!

Customer service is at a all time low. I get upset about insurance. Especially when I haven't used it but when I need to its a co-pay of some sort. It really pisses me off.

I am so sorry to hear about your shipmate. 🙏🏾 Insurance is a complete joke these days. I deal with patients everyday who are being denied routine preventative exams. Insurance basically is like are they near death? If not, we dont see a reason for this test. So I could only imagine the frustration of someone who really needs these claims paid. While I can see his motive, I can’t stomach those who are calling him a hero. Omg why are we the same? I walked into a Marshall’s/Homegoods the other day and said all of these stores lately look a hott mess! I walked right out! Everything is an eyesore and not everyone wants to go on a scavenger hunt when they are shopping. I’m slowly catching up and loving each vlog along the way!

Honey, I have been in that portal back and forth daily. After the holidays, they will be getting calls as much as the scam callers from me!🤣🤣

I have had to contact my doctors office on multiple occasions to reach out to my insurance. I have also gotten so frustrated and eventually just paid out of pocket for an MRI. After paying all the copays and deductibles I’m not even sure what the point of the insurance is 😂 just awful 🙈 I’m sorry for your loss and this GI issue reoccurring.
