I recall 1 lady at a Wally world Walmart who bought a item that well say final sale not refundable she came in and flipped out on a CSR. I was with my mobility cane back then I step up and tell the lady you know it was a damaged item so back off the csr lady. Well to make it short she got mad at me I was in line as well. But the good news the assistant manager came out and she left eventually and they both thanked me. Since it's not often that customers stand up for staff. But that time I did. I find out later that lady had switched to a cashier position and when she saw me next she thanked me. I was shocked like why more people don't do this.

The subway story is interesting in it's own way. It shows that this Karen lives in a complete different reality of her own. She has an absolutely different point of view when attacking the cashier and probably thought OP lied about what happened. She sees herself as the victim in the story. That's some very serious mental disorder that can cause some serious and maybe dangerous situations in the future.

The writer of that story has clearly never experienced it, otherwise he would not be whining about nonexistant classism. The woman could have been less rude about it, though but we really don't know what the tone of her voice was. Eh, the first one I kinda understand. Sure, help does deserve to not be treated as crap, just as customers deserve some competency from that help staff. If I would go to butchery, saw guy behind counter working with meat and asked him for few pounds of certain type of meat, I would be really displeased if he showed to have no clue about his job. But if he explained to me that this is not his job, that I mistook him for actual butcher who is currently in backroom, of course I would change my tune. I mean it is not common for non-employees to be behind counters where all the goods are, so I have no idea why he was miffed for being mistaken for bartender.

You know what I'm starting to see the pattern of in these stories? So many people think others are door mats and believe they can be walked all over if they work in jobs not "good enough" for these Karen's.. That's just sad. It's called a job and they do it to help others so start thinking about how you talk to them. After spitting at me I'd have changed my mind about the police and pressing charges. If someone strikes you with saliva ejected from their mouth it's a form of assault, especially considering the ramifications if someone did it to intentionally cause illness or harm.

This was a great video, and my favorite reddit stories were the one with the elderly woman in the store & the last one with the dude pretending to be a store manager. If I had to choose one to be my #1 favorite in this video, then it's the one with the elderly woman. That was so sweet for that guy to help her out like that, and it makes me smile when I hear wholesome stories like this. Also...."I'm a VALUABLE subscriber, and I NEEEEEDDDDD likes on this comment! I’m a nurse and I often run errands on my break which means I’m bopping around stores wearing scrubs and a name tag. I very often get mistaken for someone who works there and I always politely explain that I don’t. What I do next is based on how nice people are. If the person asking me apologizes (or acts polite in anyway, really) I always offer to help them with whatever they need if I can. 9 times at a 10 I find myself chatting happily away with a stranger trying to find the bathroom or helping a little old lady read the label on the back of the yogurt. I love doing this because more often than not, people are good and kind and worth your time. It makes me happy. ❤
