To the OP who lost her baby: if you're reading this, I just want to say I'm so, so sorry, and although I know it's been a long time, I know you must still be hurting. You're incredibly kind and generous to even think of donating the return money to the hospital with other people's children in mind. It just goes to show what an amazing person you are. I hope things have gotten better for you. 💜

That first story was absolutely incredible, and made my day. This Gigachad of a man deserves a medal for how to handle Karens. xD

Maybe it was a super karen? It's obvious that just Karen couldn't do it. She's still talking to the manager about it.

First story: I see now. Karens are so absentmindedly having spiteful thoughts all the time that they've forgotten actual literacy. This guy is not just a down-to-earth comedian, but also a hero for having found yet another weapon for us to use against Karens. Oh, and this is also why I never go to the grocery store in anything that could be misinterpreted as work attire - I learned that lesson once when I was approached by another customer while wearing an ordinary yellow reflective jacket - fortunately they were decent people and just laughed it off when I told them. Second story: Am I the only one who's so used to think that emergency dispatchers are all female that I automatically assumed that OP was a woman? If so, I'll have to apologize. Although I feel like OP should call out on having the colors of the police department's dispatcher uniforms changed - I think blue shirts and cargo pants should do the trick. Third story: Post says two hours ago, rSlash said two years ago. It is confirmed that rSlash is a time traveler and has sent us this video from the future! On a serious note though, if I heard those exact words that old hag had coming out of her filthy mouth, I would look her dead in the eye and tell her "I only respect those who show me respect in return, and right now your hypocritical insinuation is far from respectful. Let go of me right now or I'll teach _you_ a lesson in respect!". And sure enough, someone who shows no sympathy over the tragic loss of life aren't worthy of the privilege of being alive, let alone live any form of good life. Whether karma will have its due with her, we can only hope. Fourth story: Sounds like an r/EntitledPeople candidate, with a hint or r/NiceGirls. That girl sounds like all kinds of red flags, and I feel bad for anyone she tries to "persuade". Don't fret it OP, it just sounds like you became the target of contempt by people with sexist double-standards who still takes every women's words for granted, even if it's a lie - there's nothing you could've done to change that outcome, lest you wanted to play into her scheme.

Rage Fury My Mom was a Police Dispatcher for 17 years, she HAD to wear a white dress shirt with patches sewn on the sleeves a badge and ID and black dress slacks. It was mandatory.

"Like a dog being shown a card trick..." LMAOROTFL and stealing! I also have the "person in charge" look, but at weddings, events, charities. People always think I know how to get more wine, start the music, fix the glitch in the fashion show, etc. Like OP, if the questioner is nice, I try to be helpful, direct them to the person in charge. But this one entitled mother of the bride demanded that I get DIFFERENT FOOD because the caterer brought sub-standard food (he didn't). I told her I wasn't the right person to deal with this, but she went off. Imagine an entitled Karen swathed in too-tight mint green lace, bright orange hair, toooo much makeup and a figure like Tiny Tim, and you get the picture. She is talking loudly, just short of yelling, when she says I should know my job description of wedding coordinator and if I don't move my fat arse (hah) fast, she won't pay me. I feel the delightful surge of revenge in my bones and humbly assure her I'll do whatever I can, without specifically saying what action I'll take. I disappear into the crowd, and head to the bar. Proceed to have a great time with my friends (all young enough to be my grandkids) and the B&G who are good friends. I've never met the MOB as she lives across the country, but the B has told me on many occasions what a narcissist her mom is, difficult, jealous, etc. About 1 hr later, MOB runs into me and I have a glass of champagne in my hand. She screeches, "I'm not paying you to drink MY champagne! Now, get the food replaced!" Enter petty revenge. I find the real wedding coordinator, make sure she'd been paid, and explain the situation, and tell her my plan. The wedding coordinator told me the MOB has been trying to micromanage the wedding, causing loads of problems. But the B&G picked the menu, drinks, flowers, and paid for the whole wedding themselves. So I go to the convenience store a block away and buy a horrid pizza pocket and a can of Vienna sausages. Take them back to the reception and get a waiter to put them on a plate--beautifully arranged, of course--garnished with parsley, so at first glance, covered in sauce, it looks like the other dinners. I watch as he serves her, whispering, "I hope you like the different food we got at your request." She waves him off, as, cue the real wedding coordinator, comes up, all fake smiles and introduces herself to the MOB. The MOB looks confused af and spots me across the room in a group including the B&G. I smile, lift my glass in salute, and turn away. She was very subdued the rest of the evening. And silently ate her entire "replacement" dinner without a peep!
