Alleged victims of R. Kelly are speaking out for the first time since the "CBS This Morning" interview where the singer defended himself against charges of abusing underage girls. He is still in jail Friday morning for failing to pay child support, though his manager says he expects Kelly's release later in the day. Police in Detroit say they want to speak with a woman who claims Kelly abused her when she was 13. He denies all allegations against him. Jericka Duncan reports.

Especially when their abuser is someone with power, especially someone with power that so many people love. Another reason is shame; a lot of victims blame them selves believing they're some how responsible, how people will view them, how things will change because of the case, or what will happen if they lose. Its not uncommon, when a child is a victim of rape, for parents to brush it under the rug when the rapist is someone of power, or is close to them. This is one of the reasons why so many children that are raped, are raped by family friends and family members, and why so many victims of rape and sexual abuse are subordinates to the abuser.
